I tested both sets (classic and testing set) and funny things is that in classic version, the FG% is way better for people (like me) playing real player %.
Moreover, in the testing version (where gamespeed is at 51, accel, speed lateral quickness), it's almost impossible to score when we are close to the rim or trying to do a layup (even when people are alone !!!!) but for AI, it's not a problem at all
Driving runs are way more present in the testing version and opponents a really pushing. I got 3 players in the paint and the opponent was totally stucked but it doesn't matter, he pushes to score with a layup or another move.
in the testing version, pressing on players is way too big which gives not many open shots or ability to drive to the run for user.
Conclusion:
- better global stats and FG% in classic version (even if it could be a bit better for real player % players)
- better driving runs system in classic version
- better pace for the game with testing versionComment

Almost makes me think of trying just the new gamespeed on the classic version without the changes to awareness and consistency I've made or too the speed and accel and lateral quickness
The only reason i adjusted speed and accel and lateral quickness was to try and reduce the blow byes.
I think I'll revert back to classic, switch only gamespeed and go from there..fg % can be tweaked to work with shot stick timing as well

Yes... Because i haven't had time to do any further testing with 2k having dropped patches that screwed up the gameplay.

True but if we start getting blocks the way the A.I. playing now they would shoot 20% from the field. Lol since I went back to previous setting and reduced game speed it has been a little more better. But the teams have to be good really good. At least now tho I don’t have my bench guys playing the entire 4th quarter of a playoff game. Another complaint about 2k20 is the crowd being dead silent in my home arena when I’m blowing a team out it’s like no one is there. Crowd moving around frantically and I can hear the basketball no matter how critical the situation. I thought they would have this down pat by now. Just really disappointing to have no playoff field or home court advantage with some real cheering!Comment

It's really going to come down to finding the sweet spot for offensive and defensive awareness and consistency for the cpu.
Shot success rates will be adjusted slightly as well.
Nothing wrong with user getting blocks as long as its within reason and it's not the reason why the cpu doesn't shoot well.

I have been playing with this slider set recently and overall they feel great. However, I do see some issues which are starting to get really frustrating.
- I cannot at all finish at the rim with a layup, except for fast break layups. As soon as an opponent is standing anywhere in the paint there is no chance for me to finish at the rim. He doesn't even have to contest the layup, him standing there is enough to make me miss. I already put user layup at 60, but that did not help. Could it be that this is the defense strength slider?
- The CPU guards mostly do isolations plays, where they bully me and spin their way to the paint. There is nothing I can do about that to stop them.
- My AI teammates are useless doing on ball d. The CPU just blows by them way too easily. I have to control the on ball defender to even have a change to stay in the game. It looks like my teammates are trailing too far behind their man on screens. But even if the CPU catches the ball with one of my teammates in position to defend, the CPU can easily break down my defender with a few basic dribble moves.
- (Might not be gameplay slider related): In simulated games I see every other day a guy going for 50+ points. Two weeks into my association, Harden and Lillard each had 4 50+ games, DeRozan had 3, and LeBron, Curry, Irving and Walker had 2.
Is there anything that can be done slider wise to address these problems.Comment

As for #2, I've had that issue since day one with a ton of different slider adjustments. No matter what I do, the CPU fails to run an offense far too much. I'm fine with attacking the basket out of PnR or motion, but as you noted, the isolation "hero ball" the CPU plays to bully you, is way too prevalent.
As for your 4th point, if you go into the difficulty settings in myleague you can adjust simulation sliders. There are sliders for a variety of stats that can be adjusted to determine how dominant stars are. Lower the numbers for what percentage of a particular category stars are going to get and you will see fewer big games.Comment
