Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
Yo guys. I am new to NBA 2k20 on ps4. Last i played was 2k16 i believe on PC. I want to create a myLeague that is almost the same as reality basketball. Does the slider schnaidt fulfill that? And can anyone send me a link of the updated sliders? I do not have an internet too so all i can do is set the slider settings myself. Hoping for anyone's help. TyComment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I think this could very well be a result of me playing 6-8 minute quarters, but does anyone else find that games are very high scoring, like teams averaging 116-120 points per game? Like I said, this could just be a result of doing shorter quarters with simulated to full 12 but was curious

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I've been on this website for over a decade. Have not posted in a few years but felt the need to come and say that after switching to these sliders and broadcast camera (after playing 2kcam for the past 20 years) for my new MyLeague using Thunder Shaq 1996-97 Roster and Mod pack on PC, that your work & everyone who contributed work is amazing.
By far and away the best basketball experience I've ever had in a video game. Great games. Very rewarding. Very punishing.
I think they capture two of the most vital aspects of long term success on the court, fundamentally, which is great shot selection & big stops.
Also, I love the way the sliders put the emphasis on protecting the ball.Comment

That’s not actually “very high scoring” anymore. 20 teams averaged 110+ ppg this season IRL.

Jeez I guess not. While the seasons end up with 2-3 teams averaging 120 and overall the scoring is a few points higher, I guess it really isn’t that far off. Thanks for pointing out.

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
Yo, is there any way to fix the rebounding? Every time I sim, there seems to be wayy too many guys with over 10 rebounds per game. Ive tried to lowering various sliders but im not sure what works best. Thanks!Comment

In my experience, teams end up spending a ton of money on their own FAs and team salaries get up over $200m for every team

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
New to the forum. Is the Schnaidt1 Official Release the correct settings selector? If so, I really loved the majority of the settings however the progression is significantly off. Starting rosters had the following player ratings.
95+ = 8
90-94 = 8
85-89 = 38
80-84 = 71
After just 3 seasons, offseason of 2023. See below.
95+ = 1
90-94 = 15
85-89 = 32
80-84 = 36
Please understand that your settings are a great improvement on the default and I only offer this to assist you in continuing finding balance. I think a drop in players over 80 rating from 125 to just 84 in 3 seasons is pretty significant. I happened to add 2 expansion teams leaving some very ugly looking rosters.
Just helpful feedback, continue what you do. I'm going to try and tweak some of the progression sliders to hopefully resolve this a bit.Comment

Really interesting that you had that outcome, are you using the progression figures from the OP? Because I looked at these numbers as well a little bit ago and, in the 2022 season, here were the results compared to the updated 2K Roster:
2K
90+: 15
85-89: 33
80-84: 67
77-79: 85
2022
90+: 20
85-89: 43
80-84: 79
77-79: 140
So my results were almost the exact opposite of what you had and in response I adjusted the “potential” ratings for players rather than the development sliders. That could be what is causing your numbers to be dropping rather than staying consistent or going up like mine did.
Edit: and it seems like change came from 80-84 more than anything, because that’s where the real change came. So maybe take a look at some of the potential ratings for the players and see if that’s the issue. Your other numbers were almost identical (16v16 at 90+; 38v32 at 85-89)
