Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
No, the Kyrie and KD should be on the floor the most since they are your best players.
The problem is you want dinwiddie getting a ton of minutes, which he can get, but mostly as a SG next to Kyrie as opposed to as a PG which you said you wanted. If Dinwiddie is playing PG its because Kyrie isn't on the floor
Kyrie should be your PG for 80% of the game.

BTW do people actually pay attention to players energy level? I normally like to sub them out if they are below 70.Comment

Gonna hit your setup again and try out your changes. Just finished putting them into my 96-97 MyLeague. I did use the movement test settings you posted few posts up.

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I’m now close to finishing my first season. Everything plays pretty well. Great work schnaidt!
I used the following set.
Gameplay sliders: schnaidt’s official
myleague sliders: schnaidt ‘s test sliders
Roster: schnaidt’s roster with OVR & potential RTG spread
Draft class 2020: original DC from infamous, edited by celticlg34, I think he lowered potential and tendency
So which set are you using guys? Also does anyone have a edited DC 2021? Or could someone explain to me what exactly needs to be changed? Then I would edit the original draft classes from Jackemove for everybody who is interested.Comment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I agree with most of this, however, although post release is 100% myteam and my career related for the most part. They do add a bunch of things to Franchise and mygm during the dev cycle. Do they work 100% as advertised or as we want? No. But they do still give us way more of an in depth franchise mode than Madden. Even if post launch support is lacking.
https://www.youtube.com/user/schnaidt1
Yeah, the depth of Franchise mode is there in NBA2k, its way beyond Madden and MLBTS. Its just they refuse to fix those things, that dont work, yr after yr. IMO some of the sim stats did improve over the past couple yrs or so, but there is still a few thats out of whack, even on the edited rosters, that were edited to try and fix or atleast improve upon them. But a couple of them, is just hard coded within the sim engine, that roster and slider edits arent able to fix.
Sadly I dont see these being fixed on the next generation console game either. I hope they prove me wrong, but until that happens NBA2k20 will be my last, and chances are my PS4 will be my last gaming console. That is unless the NBA2k guys prove me wrong, or MLBTS Franchise gets a major overhaul and a lot more in-depth. Basically Ive given all hope up on Madden Franchise mode, which is why up until this yr I hadnt bought it in like 5 or 6 yrs.
I know some believe its because of a lack of competition as basically of the 3 major sports, basketball, baseball and football, has no real competition so it allows them to only focus on the online side of the game, where they can micro transaction it to death. Whether thats true or not, I dont know, I use to not think so, but there may be something to it after all.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
Just follow my rotation video and make sure the 2 starters those guys sub in for are set to lower minutes
https://www.youtube.com/user/schnaidt1
So in your video, you have your starting 5 with the following minutes:
2 with 35 min, 1 with 30 min and 2 with 25 min and your 6th and 7th men each have 30 min.
Now I'm assuming the goal of your video is to have the starters play the last 5 min of the game (correct me if I'm wrong).
My confusion comes from your response to my question about the Clips. Uou said this:
Just follow my rotation video and make sure the 2 starters those guys sub in for are set to lower minutes
The problem is using your current setup, the Clips would automatically be setup that way:
George/Leonard: 35 min. Shamat: 30 min. Beverly/Zubac 25 min....with Williams and Harrell both getting 30 min each.
So how would the same numbers result in different circumstances?
My goal is this. I want to avoid the bunch/hockey subs where 4 plus people come in at the same time and I want the players that play the last 5 min in real life to play.
Ive been using my own rotations for a while but the AI wont sub out people in foul trouble when you use those.
So here are my questions:
1) What would the setup need to be for me to have 1 or 2 nonstarters finish the game?
2) What would the setup need to be for all 5 starters to finish the game?
3) What do I do in situations where teams have no or only 1 starter who plays 35 min in real life? Do I have to use those specific numbers in the video in order for it to work optimally or can I adjust them by 5 min increments?
Thanks. Your sliders are incredible and i love the new movement sliders.Comment

Played my first game as Sacramento with these and got my *** handed to me against the Suns lol shot 43% from the field and 25% from 3........ needless to say I have some practicing to do haha but the game felt organic and smooth at 59 game speed so I like it so far

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I spent the last week learning the ins and outs of the game. It's quite complex for a newcomer. I'd still lose almost every game by a 20 to 30 point margin using the official sliders, with very poor FG%. What clicked to me was activating offense auto playcalling and lite+full playvision, it opened my offensive play immensely.
I started a league with Spurs and won the first two home games, 120-85 vs Knicks and 117-110 vs Wizards, very proud. Except for my own lowish 3pt attempt frequency, the other stats at 12 minutes are so realistic it's insane.
I'm not experienced with basketball games, but the sliders seem almost spot on. It feels like watching a game in real life. Increasing game speed would concern me. I tried ShadyMike's sliders to compare (60 game speed + default movement sliders) and the game became a sprint fest - VERY arcadey, IMO.Comment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
At the current "official" state, I'd say small guys are maybe too quick and big guys are far too slow (and definitely capped on their animations). But it looks like it's because of the increased gap in movement sliders, which might be a bit exxagerated. Overall, and especially when it comes to ball speed, I'm really liking 51. I'd probably give a shot if slightly faster, but definitely not if much faster.Comment
