Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I play it at 8 minute quarters. The score runs a little high, but the percentages are pretty good, right around 45-52% shooting from the floor, 20-35 fouls per game. It's pretty good.

I'll look into messing with that and see if it does anything

It will be fine. Your stats will be halved, but that's it. You can go into MyLeague settings and set simulated quarter lenght to 6 or 7 minutes too so the other games work the same as yours.Comment

Thanks! So the sim stats option will be on for me. That’s perfect. Thanks guys!

Played my first game, and I am a noob. Lost to the Celtics as the Sixers. I had to make my player sliders better because I was terrible.

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
I tried rolling back to the first page sliders 100% to see if there was something to do with it, but the same tendencies of my last few games persisted (my changes were so tiny anyway).
What I'm seeing as a pattern is - and a big part of this can just be myself sucking at defense, so take it with a grain of salt:
- A bit too many points in the paint for CPU. Hovering around 55% while it should be more like 45%.
- Their primary offensive tactic is forcing their way to the basket. They almost only try anything else if they try this first and it fails or if shot clock is short.
- CPU dunks way too high, always on double digits, frequently around the 15 mark (should be half of this or less).
- Alley-oops, same. They throw them like it's nothing. I see the slider for CPU alley-oops is at 95, so that's something.
- CPU 3PT% a bit too high maybe, too frequently it ends above 40% IME.
- Poeltl can't move, the poor guy, but I gave up on this already.
Still, I think the overall feel of the game and most of the other stats are great.
My last game was a 151-141 loss after overtime against the Hawks (what a run, man). They scored 84 (!) points in the paint and 16 dunks. 3PT% was over 50 for both, but that's definitely not usual for my team.
Glad to contribute to your slideritis.Comment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
My own 3P% = .397, 3rd best in the league
Opponent 3P% = .418, worst in the league (second worst is .400)
So really, ball falling a bit above average, but not too severely (and not as unbalanced against myself as I thought).
Sadly, no stats for opponent PIP or dunks.Last edited by GaloVingador; 02-08-2020, 03:09 PM.Comment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
So yeah just more confirmation, the latest 2K update has brought back CPU forcing their way into the paint in full force. As a result I'm seeing the following.
Too many points in the paint for CPU.
Too many CPU alley oops.
Too many user blocks.
Not enough CPU 3pt attempts.
Too many CPU dunks.
Awkward animations due to forced close shots.
This is getting beyond old. I've been angry tweeting @2K asking if anyone there understands NBA basketball among other things.Comment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
Fellas when the game plays well for u it would be in your best interest to disconnect from the internet so updates don’t interfere with your game anymore.........just a thought

I play other games so that's not a viable solution. 2K shouldn't F the core gameplay up with their park updates.Comment

Maybe I’m wrong but can’t u decide what games automatically connect to the internet or not?

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
Back to this nonsense. Why the hell can these guys stay away from messing with the dynamics of the game. I come back and this crap alley oops always driving to the rim. Out of 8 alley oops I between AD and LeBron I stopped one and I was simply lucky and it’s like they go into over drive when they running to the rim. It’s true the animations look all screwed up. I give up. Luckily I only paid 28 dollars for this game with some credits I received that’s all I paid out of pocket. But this is my last year buying this game. This stuff is just unacceptable. Whom ever the Deva are they don’t care about Myleague it’s all park stuff I’m just so over it and had enough. I’m waiting for The Show. As far as I’m concerned I’m deleting this gameComment

Re: Schnaidt1's 2k20 MyLeague and Gameplay Sliders
You can block the app from connecting to the internet through windows firewall. I thought a connection would be required to play MyLeague tho. Is this only for MyCareer and online modes?
I had a much more enjoyable game today, not only because I broke a 5-game losing streak.
Dunks and PIP under control.
I think at least some of it has to do with my defense. I realized that when my controlled player was marking someone at the perimeter, I wasn't going for the double team nearly enough whenever the CPU tried to drive to the basket, and they were abusing this. Being more aggressive under the basket when defending, I had success in pushing them to riskier shots, at least in this game.
Still too many alley-oops though. I counted seven attempts from the CPU on this game (miraculously, they missed three).Last edited by GaloVingador; 02-08-2020, 08:08 PM.Comment
