Re: Finally figured out the player movement
Major Update!!!!!!!! You all must try this!!!! I wasn’t totally satisfied with how the players moved after the latest patch. Always trying to perfect the gameplay I found a HUGE attribute that gets rid of any herky jerky, jittery movement . It not only ties the whole game together but when played on a game speed of 65, it just moves and feels amazing . All this time we have been moving this slider and that slider just to have it just come down to one simple slider!!!
It is the *VERTICAL* slider! Start the game on HOF. Play a quarter on default HOF at the recommended game speed of 65. Then go back and raise the user vertical to 100. Start the game over and see the difference!!! Also on HOF put user 3pt shooting on 70.
So it goes as follows ..... very simple .....
HOF difficulty
Game speed ————-65
User vertical————100
User 3pt success ——70
This is also good for when 2k drops another patch and messes up the gameplay. U only have to finagle 3 sliders to get the game back to normal
So you are saying to just change these leave the rest at default

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
Correct.... very simple ... game speed at 65 and just user shooting at 70 and user vertical at 100.Comment

And you get realistic scores?

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
Yes. For 6 minute quarters I’m getting close games with around 45% shooting. You can lower the user shooting to your liking.Comment

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
Okay I support this find. I have a good friend from Chicago. We went to HS together and ill never forget we were running 2k10. H2H my boy was the only player in the house that immediately always said I aint playing unless you got the game speed on 75-80. We looked at him crazy. (At the time I was a 54-60) for years I seen soo many guys lower the game speed and I just never could dig deep into their sets or I would just ignore their speed settings and play with what I discovered from my friend. Now I'll say that 75 & 80 were too fast for me. But they have several new sliders they've put in the last 5 years that help different areas of the game..
The biggest changes are the transitions & it does unlock new animations & a more fluid set. Dribbling is lightening quick and super responsive. If players did this in the past they would of known that dribble tech/system has always worked well its just always been slighted by the clunky clumsy ani's due to slow/normal/lower game speeds.
With the game speed up to you really feel that power of using a speedster (Prime OKC russ) fox , early stage Wall, Collison..
In closing, guys if you aren't on this wave please join it makes the game so much more enjoyable. More reactive & interactive less clunky, and "let me think what I'm gonna do next" AI style

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
Yeah, like I said .... somehow, offsetting the vertical makes the user players move smoother and less stuck to the CPU especially on HOF.
Definitely enjoying how this plays !Comment

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
I’ll have to try it out. I play current on 11 minute quarters and getting realistic scores. You getting like 100 plus points and all? Love the sliders btw

Re: Finally figured out the player movement
This has made the game way to easy, even on HOF. My players can get anywhere they want to on court and 3pt% is ridiculously highComment
