Quite honestly I don’t know what exactly happened between the OOTB version of the game which was simply put unreal on Pro and now.

The AI has gotten so dumbed down thru all these patches as well as CPU shooting I said screw it and moved all the way up to the highest difficulty level and now I feel like I have the same game back.

I am testing a lot of things out so sit tight…..but I am pretty positive we are moving on to HOF difficulty now for My Era mode.

It’s hard to keep up with 2K changes after each patch. I have no idea why they seem to change everything. It’s always amazing OOTB and then the slowly destroy it…? They should switch to how NHL does it with tuners. And you can pick what tuner you want to use.

I'll be interested to see what you've come up with, Armor. I got so frustrated recently with the game I deleted it off my PS5, but would love to see if I can find a way to keep playing the Magic/Bird- and Jordan-eras.

I'll be interested to see what you've come up with, Armor. I got so frustrated recently with the game I deleted it off my PS5, but would love to see if I can find a way to keep playing the Magic/Bird- and Jordan-eras.

I am working on it…..I still am not pleased what happened with all these patches. I mean out of the box we had a beautiful playing CPU.

Downhill ever since and it’s mindboggling.

However I am very encouraged with the AI on HOF. So hopefully we find a happy place which so far thru 3 games I am extremely encouraged.

Yeah, the first couple of months after release were a blast and then it swiftly fell off a cliff. Such is the way with all sports games these days as we fall to the whims and desires of the online and competitive crowds.

2K is back! Straight default HOF sliders w/ foul sliders maxed and all shooting sliders +10 has made the game play more like the OOTB gameplay we all loved.

I bet Armor has a few more tweaks in mind....stay tuned.

As the playoffs roll around, I've gotten the itch back to play. Interested to try this. Did you just raise USER shooting sliders +10, or USER and CPU?

Raise all shooting sliders +10 for both user & cpu.
Armor says he is potentially working on further tweaks, so stay tuned.

Yes sir…..we are testing away and using various teams and matchups (Jordan Era is where I am testing primarily, bit will also test Magic/Bird Era).

Modern Era I have very little interest in playing to be completely transparent. I loathe how tue NBA is today….not my game anymore.

We will be posting our HOF V1 Set later this afternoon.

I am really loving how it’s playing. Highly organic in so many areas. Especially pace, turnovers, passing speeds, CPU and HUM shot percentages are much better now. Plenty of fouls and a nice variety. The CPU AI is much better on HOF.

There are some things that are “2K” and nit gonna change like lots of point’s In the paint off missed shots, and contested shots being quite difficult. It seems to be the staple things that stick out on this years game and that was from day one BTW.

I am really having fun though and the difficulty is nothing crazy for us “Average Joes” I encourage you to watch some streams and see my play style. That will give you an idea of how I approach and play the game.
