I’m a bit confused, if using real player % for ft and shooting what do we edit the sliders to or do they remain the same? I see the read me photo but I don’t see what to modify.

I'm interested in your sliders they look awesome. I was wondering are these good for CPU vs CPU? or do you have a set for specifically that?Comment

What's good bro! I'm actually working on the cpu v cpu / coaching sliders now. Along with the player lock version. So stay tuned man, I think you could actually help us test with these as well. Lets stay connected broComment

I’ve ran a few games with these, and I am getting WAY too much defense on layups/inside shots. Contests from behind, smaller players getting heavy contests on taller players, things like that.
This was a 58% contest. And there have been more open than this getting contested as well. Shooting is going through a slight bit of the same, but this may be a bigger problem with rotations being too quick.
What would be the best fix here? Lowering defense or raising offense?Last edited by xCoachDx; 10-12-2023, 01:27 PM.Comment

Inside/layups for v1.1 was too strong for ppl, so for V2.0, we took the clamps off a bit for more inside/layups scoring. So depending on which set you're using and your skill level, you can always make the adjustments to suit your play style.
My last thing is, the contest % should not be something you use as something you gauge towards shot contests. Reason being is b/c the contest% is fixed to the default 2K sliders. To mirror realistic shooting vs the contest, that allow you to always have a possibility even when contested, which is true to life, we had to adjust those jumpshot defense strength sliders. As a result, the contest % won't line up to what we adjusted. It's about the feel, and what you see on the court. A good contest won't always cause a miss, but more than likely it should. For what we're accomplishing, the contest% distracts that process.
Thanks for the feedback bro!Comment

My main question is which set are you using? And are you saying there's too much defense on the USER or CPU layups/inside? or Both? I'll definitely let you know what you can adjust soon as I know these things.

I’m using the veteran set.
Basically any inside shot that isn’t wide open is getting missed by both sides. Players will have basically nobody between them and the basket but the distant contest is causing a miss. It’s causing mismatches to not be a problem and scoring numbers to be too low.
Shooting is close to like this as well, but not to the point I would say it’s a problem as of now. I did have to crank up the 3 point tendency/mid range slider a bit as I had one game reach the 3rd quarter and the CPU had taken hardly any shots outside of the paint. The only real issue I’m seeing are around the basket.
Tried using layup meter to help, am getting greens like this where the entire meter is basically green, then suddenly becomes a miss out of nowhere when I release for the shot.

Re: KingSimKits: NBA 2K24 | 12min Qtr | Tru Sim Sliders, Gameplay & Stats
Can someone please explain the free throw window slider? Is lower number for users more difficult? Obviously user timing is required ? What does it do to the cpu lowering their slider window?
Sorry ! New here.

Hey man, and yes you're correct. The lower values create a smaller free throw window, thus making it more challenging.Comment

How would that truly affect the cpu shooting Free throws? Does it just keep their percentage lower shooting? Thx for educating me

Its always been a question if it actually does make it more difficult for the CPU to shoot free throws. B/c I was focused on so many other parts of the game, I think keeping an eye on it at this point may be vital so we can be certain. But yes, its supposed to lower theirs as wellComment
