Re: Offical Demo Impressions
Actually depends on how good the ballhandler is as well. Good ballhandlers will dribble the ball ahead of them, so they have no problem running as fast as they usually do, or at least there isn't much of a decrease in speed when they have the ball. Players like Iverson would do this. What could compensate for dribbling really fast with turbo pressed is there's a greater chance of losing control of the ball and thus a turnover out of bounds.Comment

Re: Offical Demo Impressions
It's kind of ironic, as you're right it would frustrate noobs or non sim players. But I think the whole spectrum of players might be frustrated with the current fix that they have in place for the ease with which fast players can dribble crosscourt and score.
Heck, in the NBA we see this happen from time to time, where fast players will catch the D napping and dribble fullcourt and score as if it's the easiest thing in the world.Comment

Just release the stick when the player is at the release point of his shot.Comment

Re: Offical Demo Impressions
lol...this isnt that NBA live garbage FT shooting. Hold it down till you think his followthrough is good, then just release the stick.Comment

Re: Offical Demo Impressions
not exactly. but JT was smiling and standing after that nice drive.. I sorta cherry picked... 2:23 mark. a once in a thousand move. the D is good about closing off incoming guys
also notice in the first 30 seconds, theres a nice Jwill hopstep that turns into a steal. another cool animationComment

I said I wouldn't download the demo, preferring to wait for the retail, and I still haven't. I'm starting to shake though."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: Offical Demo Impressions
Well, all I can say is every single game you'll see something different. Words can't describe it! I don't think by downloading it you would get spoiled (unless the Mavs or Heat are your team). Even though it is only 4 minutes, it is an amazing demo.Comment
