Re: Official Moves List
When shooting jumpers, is the release for all the players different? Like say, do I hold the shot stick longer for one player while another player I can let off earlier? I can't hit jumpers consistently with anybody but Kobe and Fisher can't hit open 3s to save his life.
Also keep in mind that it takes a bit longer to reach the proper timing on a shot release for the same player whenever that player takes a shot off the dribble than in comparison to where the player shoots after spotting up. For instance, let's say you're controlling Kobe. You would have to hold shot stick down a tad longer shooting a pull-up mid-range jumper off the bounce with Kobe than you would than whenever taking a standstill 3-pointer from the catch with him.
What's the secret to FTs, BTW? KB24 is the only one I'm good at them with.

FT's are the same deal as jumpers, just gotta get used to em after playing time and time again."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Official Moves List
For FT's:
1st shot: release it a bit early
2nd shot: release it like normal
Maybe this is intentional, maybe its not, but I like how it makes shooting FT's harder, makes late game fouling a little more useful.Comment

Re: Official Moves List
Is it relative to the basket, or is it standard on the shot stick? I'm using the shot stick for the first time this year.. and enjoying it somewhat. Not bad. I want to see some Lebron flashy signature dunks, but have only pulled of 2, and didn't know how, haha.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Official Moves List
I would like to add on the first free throw let the player complete his routine before you shoot the free throw, becomes not as delayed/laggy. Then the second shot, shoot when you are ready.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

Re: Official Moves List
I found the best angle (with the ball in the left hand) was going from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock in a one quick straight line.
The in and outs are very hard to do as they are nearly identical do the behind the back dribble and the double crossovers are impossible to do with some playersComment

Re: Official Moves List
Go slow and easy with the stick, except on the cross over. On the cross over, overcompensate on the direction to make sure you're at a 45 degree angle. Here are some quick tips.
Move slowly in one direction so you are sure which hand has the ball before the move. There is too much switching on the dribbling this year.
Cross overs are 45 degrees, not left to right.
Hesitation Cross, Double Cross and In&Outs are Left/Right, NOT 45 degrees
For moves using both Triggers, Grab L Trigger first, then grab R and go into your move when you have a comfortable position.
The Spin Move is longer than everything else. Don't combo into it or out of it unless without being aware of the extra space.
Tap R Trigger moves are easy and effective
Watch the L Trigger change of pace. It will punish you for erratic L stick movement.
Try letting go of the L analog a little bit before doing an Isomotion move. This reduces the danger of accidental input.Comment

Re: Official Moves List
The only move I can do consistently is the spin move, but that's pretty effective for me.

Originally posted by BrolicI'm good at Isomotion, but does anybody know how to throw the ball behind their back? I'm not talking the running behind the back move, I'm talking about the one where the ballhandler almost comes to a complete stop. It's a very fast move and I've done it at random, but I don't know how I did it.Comment

Same man, I'm struggling right now with Deron trying to pull off moves. I end up dribbling half the clock out. Oh well, it's either that or give it to Boozer and have him drop 40 &10.Comment
