Quicker pull-up jumpers...

With a lot of players, there's 2 much of a delay from the time u hit shoot while moving off the dribble 2 when they actually rise up 4 the J. A player like Kobe can dribble hard either way, stop on a dime and pull up b4 a lot of defenders can react. In the game there tends 2 be a bit of a hitch that slows u down. If they can get this right 4 2K10 it would make the game so much more complete and dynamic...

I'd like people sitting at the desk during the half, Career mode, and the textures on the court to be as clear as they are in 2K8. Weekly wrapup shows would be pretty cool too.

please make it so players can catch the ball without stopping or slowing their steps...for years now this has been a problem - as the player catches the ball he will slow down or stop running...this is especially annoying on fast breaks when you are trying to move up the court quickly and your players keep slowing down to catch passes...please just do a motion-capture session of players catching passes on the move (on fast breaks and in half court) and incorporate it into the game.

this issue is very annoying and has plagued basketball games for years...for some reason the developers haven't figured out how to make a guy continue running while catching the basketball. you'd think by now they'd have this figured out - it seems like it should be pretty easy to just program the players to continue moving at full speed while catching and then smoothly transition into dribbling without any pause or slow-down in their steps.

please make it so you can hold down the bumper to keep the pass icons up for as long as you want. this way you could simply hold down the bumper button and make multiple quick "touch passes" without having to hit the button repeatedly to bring the icons up again and again for each pass.

Wow, some of you people are absolutely ********. 24/7 mode? Career mode? What the heck is that. If you want that crap go play NBA 09 the life. NBA 2K should be all about simulation and the NBA, not some create a player life mode.

I say delete the dunk contest and use the room for more animations. I also think the passing in this game sucks. I can't stand it. You're one foot away from a guy and you throw an overhead pass. FOOT PLANTING! I liked how NBA 2K8 had less sliding but I like how this year you can fade to the side on a jumper and you can reach from behind and keep moving. Improve the spacing even more so it could tie in with the smarter passing A.I.

I HATE THE LOCK-ON-D! WHY NOT MAKE IT LIKE NBA 2K7 WHEN YOU PRESS THE LEFT TRIGGER AND YOU GO INTO A CROUCH. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MAKE THE DEFENSE MORE PHYSICAL WITH LESS SLIDING AND THERE YOU HAVE IT. NO LOCK ON D! WHY NOT HAVE THE SHADING STUFF ON A MENU OR QUICK OPTION DURING THE GAME UNDER THE PRESSURE/MATCHUPS SETTING. THAT WAY YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO KEEP RESETING THE SHADING EVERY TIME. OR ANOTHER OPTION. WHY NOT KEEP THE SHADING THING UNDER THE PLAYER BUT DISCARD THE-LOCK-ON-D! GOING EVEN FURTHER, WHY NOT MAKE LOCK-ON-D ONLY FOR ALLSTAR DEFENSIVE PLAYERS LIKE ARTEST AND BATTIER. GET RID OF THE SLIDING and the defense is solved!

Why is their lag offline on 2k cam? This is unacceptable!

All you people wishing for dumb cosmetic stuff should go design your own game. Listen NBA 2K, make NBA 2K10 the best PLAYING basketball game ever and if you WERE to add something cosmetic, Pre-game cheerleader dance with lights and little introduction like NBA Live 09 would be nice. REMEMBER, KEEP ALL IMPROVEMENTS WITH NBA 2K10 INSIDE THE BASKETBALL ARENA.

Most of my wishes came true this year so the only thing I'm wishin for next year is for some type of player priority, similar to recruiting priority in ch2k8, just add this in the coaches profile this way signings, drafts and trades will be better, Mike d'antonie won't go after Tractor Taylor.....

just for more detail they should add it so that players cant get assigned retired numbers. Im tired of seeing a number 33 on the celtics or a 23 on the bulls. also retire numbers during the franchise

Um, a sim career mode? NBA 09 The Life looks like ****. Graphics, gameplay, etc... Looks like a joke. A good sim career mode would be a feature a lot of people would use. Maybe it's not feasible to make one good enough to add on next year, but somewhere down the line it would be awesome. And apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that...

Get off yourself! NBA 09 the life is horrible which is why I brought 2K9. 2KSports doesn't make the games just for you and because something isn't what you are interested in doesn't mean others aren't. Many have requested this in the last few years so it is in demand and would add to the replay value of the game. This would fit fine on a PS3 disk and if worried about space on 360 there can always be a second disk (although it should fit on 1 disk just fine).

1.) NBA 09 had better graphics in a lot of ways over NBA 2K9. The animations weren't as good, but the anti-aliasing was superior, and the courts weren't blurry.

2.) Graphics has nothing to do with simulation, though.

3.) Why can't it be sim AND have a career mode? Use MLB 08: The Show for an example. They could add more, and I suspect that there will be a new mode in NBA 2K10, and it may very well be a career mode. And this would make you... not play it? What is your beef with a career mode, especially if it is done sim?
