I am playing my Spurs, just lost in the finals to boston 4-1. I'm in the offseason now and my team is phenominal. I pretty much have the same team with additions of theo ratliff who has been great for me. I drafted a pf who i am training intensively to become the next duncan. lol this game is awesome. i actually will play the whole second season with my team. ginobiolli was also sixth man of the year averg 21,5,4 off the bench.

I'm playing my association with the Warriors (with Ellis). I started off the season losing my first three straight, and couldn't really get the run and gun style offense down, until we played the Grizzlies and blew them out the water. Through those 4 games my leading scorer was Maggette with about 24 ppg and my leadign assist man was Ellis with 7. And my man Al Harrington was waaaaaack and my man Marcus Williams was not happy about the minutes he was getting (15 mpg), so I sent them both over to Memphis for Hakim Warrick!

Question: Bout to start my Association and was wondering if anybody plays with CPU Trades on? I want to leave it on, but I'm not trying to see any outrageous trades in it(IE Steve Nash for Future Draft Picks and Wilson Chandler)

Leave it OFF...Then turn it ON w/ a couple of weeks before the deadline.

Seriously...I don't know why anyone would want to leave it ON throughout a whole season to only see something like the below take place.

Jason Terry must be one disruptive dude because he has been traded 4 times in one year. He's have a great year stats wise (21ppg) though. Travis Outlaw has also been traded twice and is in the rumour mill to be traded again.

Oh...and Krobb...I changed Willie and Thads roles; moving Green to a roleplayer role, and Thad to starting SF w/ Iggy to the 2.

Green's morale dipped into the 50's, and Thads didn't really change too much since he was already getting BIG minutes off the bench.

LOL. This was the first move I made when I started my association!

This might seem crazy, but I was thinking maybe doing a 3 team trade between me, the Nuggets, and the Bobcats which would reunite Ivy w/ Larry Brown.

Since the Bobcats are doing so good in my association and the Nuggets are sucking really bad I was thinking that maybe adding Iverson to run point for Charlotte could cement them as a force in the East in my association.

I'd send Felton to Denver w/ whatever else Denver would need to make the deal go thru...Adam Morrisson perhaps? Somewhere in there I would trade Willie Green to one of the two teams...Maybe for Nene.

That sounds like a cool trade. ...Nene could be the big man you are looking for. Reuniting A.I. with LB would be something interesting! I myself would really try and get an outside shooter somewhere in that deal. I remember in last years game, I was trying hard to get Matt Carroll from the Bobcats...may go after him again this year.

I have not even tried to trade for anyone yet...still trying to get a feel for my team. We are off to our usual bad start at 2-6 (one of those wins was a simmed win ). My first win came on a home win last night against Utah who was 5-1....it was a big win for our club. Iggy had a monster game with 38. Lou Williams had a big game as well. As a matter of fact, Lou Williams has stepped up big time in the last 3 games averaging over 20 points off the bench (28 in the win last night)! He is dying to start, and I am so close to pulling the trigger and inserting him in the starting lineup. There was even a Willie Green sighting last night (12 pts off the bench!)

We followed up that win with a loss on the road to Toronto. We were just ice cold from the field. Brand got in early foul trouble and Iggy just couldn't get in any kind of rhythm. Lou had 24 off the bench and was pretty much our only souce of offense.

The way Lou is playing now, I am going to hold off in my pursuit to get A.I.... Lou may be the new "answer" in Philly!

QUESTION: My team chemistry is in the 40's (like 42% or something like that)...is winning the only way to raise this? Is there other things I can do to get this number up?

Since I got the gm on release day I went with the rosters/starting 5 as is. It wasn't until about a wk ago that the sixers announced Young as the starting SF so I kept Willie as the starter. As of December in my association though he has been demoted.

I've had some great games w/ Lou too. He carried me scoring wise on a quite few nights while I was trying to win w/o Brand, and definitely is my 1st option off the bench.

I'll be playing my 1st gm w/ Brand back tonight. Can't wait...its fittingly against the Cavs, and should be a good one.

As far as Team Chemistry goes, the only way I think you can increase it is w/ W's.

I'm in my second season with the Nets. Ended up with a losing record last season and the 9th pick which ended up being a SF with a solid mid-range game.

I've kept my core together and added Gooden in place of an upset Boone.

Yi is working out well and Lopez is averaging 13 and 8 while Williams is averaging 15 and 8. CDR is getting 11 off the bench as the sixth man. I've got him splitting time at the 1 and 2 because I traded Dooling for A. Blatche and a second round pick.

I should make the playoffs in the top 4 in my conference.

I didn't want to sift through 40 something pages in the glitch thread so I thought I'd ask you guys since you spend so much time in the association.

Has anyone else noticed that their previous games 4th quarter is changed to 0-0 after developing players. I've seen this a few times and I haven't figured out what trips the glitch. The month will turn and I'll train my guys then when I get back to the sim screen I'll click my previous game and the 4th quarter scoring numbers are 0-0 but the player stats are still there.

Let me know if anyone knows what trips this bug?

Has anyone else noticed that their previous games 4th quarter is changed to 0-0 after developing players. I've seen this a few times and I haven't figured out what trips the glitch. In a win vs NJ, final score 100-85, something weird happened.

The gm was never saved to my ViP profile. I unlocked two achievements; the trivia one, and 'good hands' so my user profile was active, but for whatever reason this gm wasn't saved to my ViP.

Anyone know why?

If someone could offer some insight on the above too that would be great...

Something trips it I just don't know what. 2 out of the last three times I've developed players I've lost the 4th quarter on the previous game. Sometimes it doesn't do it and I can't narrow down what trips it.

One time I was going into the 4th quarter down but ended winning. When the bug hit and zapped the 4th quarter it showed my win as a loss on the simscreen but didn't actually affect my overall record. So I'm thinking to myself well as long as it doesn't affect my record or stats I shouldn't care.

At this point I'm inclined to think that this bug doesn't affect records or stats but simply shows on error on the score summary and box score page. I'm unsure though because through 2 seasons I've been aware of this over the last few months.

Decided to start one with the Cavs as well I am in my second season now I allow the assistants to handle my trades and free agent signings I figure they know whats best for the team so they signed Rashad Mccants in free agency and in the season traded big Z for Vlad Radmanovic and Rasual Butler which has actually worked out pretty well since I still have big Ben. I did a 29 game one where i sim 15 and play the last 14 myself and my record was 15-14 lol I won enough to make the playoffs so my issues now are to do good in the playoffs and hopefully be able to keep Lebron in Cleveland since his contract is up this offseason.

Got the game the first week it was out and started an Association with my Raptors. I am currently 12-7 on the season and I have just broken a three game losing dtreak against Portland. My next game is against the Cavs. Now, I originally had Jamario Moon in my starting five, but before the Portland game, I put Andrea Bargnani into the starting lineup and I put Moon on the bench.

Anyone playing as the Celtics? I can't play with them for the life of me. I lost to the 76ers, Bobcats, Bulls, and Cavaliers. I decided to play against every team and see how I do. Then I use the Magic against the same teams and only lose to the Cavs.

I'm playing on Pro with no sliders being touched. These games as the Celtics are blowouts, I'm losing by about 15+

My 76ers update:

OUCH! lost a heartbreaker last night against the woeful Indiana Pacers. I would normally sim this game (playing an 82 gm season), but I decided to play because at 2-6 I desparately need to find a grove with my team and start winning some games on my own.

I actually got off to a hot start to start the game, but then I admitedly start going thru the motions thru halftime. I'm taking shots I wouldn't normally take, not running any plays, trying to figure out different peoples range on their jumper, etc....just going thru the motions not really paying attention. Well, I finally wake up towards the middle of the 3rd QTR and realize that I am down 15 to the FREAKING PACERS. Silly me for not taking every NBA team seriously....I figured I would just waltz into Indiana, use it as a practice game and get an easy victory.

I was able to comeback and was actually leading by 5 with just over 2 minutes to go. Jamaal Tinsley hits 2 timely 3 pointers and puts Indiana ahead by 1. Pacers go up by 3 after a Sixer turnover with 34 seconds left in the game . They were doubling Iggy so I had to go into Elton to hit the big shot and he gets fouled with 16 seconds remaining...hits the FT and we are tied. The Pacers go to Danny Granger, who has been killing me all night with 26 points. The give the ball to Granger and the run an ISO play (it was cool to see the pacers clear it out for him)....Thad was guarding him pretty well, keeping him from driving inside the lane (not today CPU!!)..but then he pulls up and hits the 15 ft jumper with 4 seconds remaining. I use my last T.O. and decided that I am going to IGGY no matter what (double team or no double team Iggy will take this shot).

I actually called an in-bounds play for the 1st time ever in a video game (i knew it was always there, just never felt the urge to use it)....and it worked! Iggy got open, I get some room...with 2 Pacer players rushing out to him, Iggy takes the 18 ft jumper and.............it rattles out............but there is a foul called on Jamaal Tinsley with 0.8 sec left!! I loved the animation of Tinsley putting both hands over his head when the foul was called! It was great! I go to the line ready to send this bad boy into OT. I drill the first FT...the second, rattles out ....game over Pacers win....Sixers fall to 2-7.

I play OKC next in Philly and I am going to play that game and get this win. I need it badly!



JBH3, I just wanted to tell you how much I love this game. You gave me an idea when you mentioned how you were going to work a 3 team trade with the Bobcats, Denver, and Philly sending Iverson to the Bobcats. Well, I attemped to work out a trade between these teams, but of course tried to get A.I. . It was kind of a crazy deal, but it was the only way I could get it to work. I was trading away Andre Miller and Iggy (and his crazy contract). I decided I could trade Iggy because I am a believer in Lou Willliams this season in my association. I was excited about a Lou-A.I. backcourt. Along with A.I., I would get Jarred Dudley (from Bobcats) in the deal. Iggy would go to Denver....Miller to Charlotte along with another Denver player.
Anyways, the trade offer declined because Iverson refused to waive his no trade clause! He does not want to even come back to Philly . Looks like we have burned our bridges and my dreams as a GM to bring A.I. back to philly are crushed.

I go to NBA.com and the top headline reads: A.I. blocks trade to Philly. I was like whoa! That was pretty cool....but at the same time I am hoping I didn't mess up Iggy's Morale since this trade offer got out to the media . I will have to have a coaches meeting with Iggy to ensure him that we want him to be in Philly forever and that the reports are not true! :wink:

I just started with the Mavs. Lost my opening game to the Rockets 96-87. Dirk coudn't get going at all. He was 1-7 from three point line. I mean everything was either an airball or jsut a bad shot. Howard did okay going to the hoop but also coudn't a jumpshot.

Any one else use the Mavs and not be able to shoot with dirk from 3? I could hit the midrange but from 3 he was just awful.
