I've got an association with the Nets and I was thinking about acquiring Rip Hamilton. He isn't happy at all with his PT and has a negative morale. What would be a realistic deal for Rip(I have the Nets current roster, no changes at all)

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
Are you willing to trade Vince Carter? Otherwise I think Yi an Brian Simmons + picks will have to be involved.Comment

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
I started an association with the Celtics, and the first thing I did was trade Paul Pierce for OJ Mayo, because I do not like the way Pierce plays. Then, I traded House, Scal and Walker for Ramon Sessions. Then I traded Marbury and a 1st for Donte Green. THEN I traded Pruitt and Big Baby and a 2nd for D. Galinari and Wilson Chandler.
Lineup Looks like this.
Rondo
Allen
Chandler
Garnett
Perkins
Bench:
Sessions
Mayo
Greene
Moore
Giddens
I forgot the other 2 players I have.Comment

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
Sixers Dynasty.
I basically simmed most of the first season.
1. Traded 1st Round Draft Pick, Maurice Speights, Willie Green, Andre Miller & Elton Brand for JR Smith, a draft pick, Charlie Villanueva and Dan Gadzurich. (I think there were other players involved also)
2. Drafted a 7'1" Center and a 6'4" Point Guard
3. at the end of the season Charlie Left cause of our record which gave us flexability.
4. Signed Allen Iverson and

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
My Knick Franchise
At present in my second franchise year.
Celtics won the last year and our currently in first with me in second 6 games behind and falling fast. (Lost the last 6 straight games)
Last year I ended up at 29 – 53. Most of the games were simmed.
Last year’s lineup
PG Chris Duhon
SG Larry Hughes
SF W. Chandler
PF Al Harrington
C D. Lee
6th: N. Robinson
7th: J Jeffries
8th: D Gallinari
9th: Q. Richardson
10th: C. Wilcox
11th: E. Curry
12th: C. Sims
Off-season
I was tormented with the decision of resigning and/or waiving D. Lee and N. Robinson. I elected to resign Nate to a 4 yr deal and waived D. Lee, C. Wilcox, and C. Sims
D. Lee ended up with the Kings for 4+1 player option approx 53 mil contract and the last yr contract is 16M (ply option)
Portland ended up signing C. Boozer PF and R. Artest SF to go along with B. Roy SG, J. Bayless PG, G. Oden at C.
Draft
I won the first pick and elected to take B. Griffin PF and in the second round drafted SG T. James. After the first month of the season made the following trades:
Traded C. Duhon and back center for A. Robertson and a back-up centers
Traded E. Curry to nets for B. Simmons
Traded Q. Richardson for D. Milcic
What to do?
Presently,
N. Robinson avg 19.5 pts
Al. Harrington avg 18 pts
W. chandler 14.7 avg
Notables
B. Griffin avg 10.5
L. Hughes 12.5 (occasionally put up a decent numbers when simmed)
Which one should I pursue this offseason: L. James, Dwyane Wade, Y. Ming, C. Bosh, or Amare Stoudermire, k durant, b. royComment

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
I'm playing with some one's created roster set who edited the draft players prior to the start of the franchise.
I got lucky and won the first pick. (no I didn’t save an re-draft until I got the first pick)~
I probably should've gone with a PG and let go Nate.
Now, I'm hearing rumors D. Wade trying to come to NY. I want to keep the franchise semi realistic should I pick him up. If so, would you trade for him this year or wait until Free AgencyLast edited by scorp25; 05-07-2009, 12:21 PM.Comment

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
Just had the worst game in my association history. My 32-14 Blazers with 100% chemistry lost to the hosting 30-18 Nuggets 156-96. I just couldn't contain anyone, they scored 36 or more points every quarter. Nuggets shot 65%, had 52 assists, 50 rebounds to my 36%, 19 and 33. Melo had 45 points, 9 assists, 3 blocks on 17/21 shooting, an injured Billups (62 ovr) had 26 points and 20 assists, Nene had 19 points and 9 boards, JR nailed 6 3-pointers, had 26 points, 8 assists. Kleiza was also a stud, althoug injured (69 ovr). I guess I'm a fool that I dont use my injured Aldridge (63 ovr) and let him sit on the bench.
Funny thing is that I've used the same slider set for a while and I've had good and bad games, mostly fair close games. Although I couldn't stop the Cavs powerhouse or stay with the fast-paced Warriors, Hawks, we still managed to stay within 10-15 points each time. But this was just ridiculous. Gotta shake it off now...Comment

Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS
With the draft lottery last night I wanted to start a new franchise with a lottery team; the Grizzlies.
Simmed year one and got 3rd pick in the draft and right now simmed the second year and am in the first round Playoffs against the Hornets. When I do these I always sim the regular season and play every Playoff game if the team made it.
Acqustions:
Ricky Rubio - With Blake Griffin off the board, this was a no brainer.
Steve Nash - Didn't resign with the Suns. Even though I drafted Rubio I wanted to split the back court and wanted a veteran out there. Signed him to a two year deal worth $19M. Overpaid I guess but only two years and I had the cap room and teams were making a huge run for him.
LaMarcus Aldridge - With Rubio and Nash there was no room for Conley. Over the first year Conley made a pretty solid improvement so I wanted to see what I can get for him. I remembered the Blazers signed Boozer and were loaded up front and really thin at PG. So Conley and a 1st rounder for Aldridge. Oden and Conley reunited.
Gerald Green - FA pick up
Frankie Hopkins - 2nd round draft pick
Starting 5:
Steve Nash
OJ Mayo
Rudy Gay
LaMarcus Aldridge
Marc Gasol
Bench:
Ricky Rubio
Marko Jaric
Gerald Green
Frankie Hopkins
Hakim Warrick
Darrell Arthur
Darko Milicic
Hamed Haddadi
So far love playing with this team. In the Playoffs been struggling with Aldridge but Warrick has been playing amazing. 2-0 against the Hornet with Mayo hitting a buzzer beater in the last game.Comment
