Re: In this thread, we post simple ways the player can make the gameplay more realist
They did last year; red is the primary color of the Western Conference logo and blue for the East, so they creatively divided their road game uniforms in that manner.Alternate Jerseys: Some teams are rumored to wear alternate jerseys on certain days or occasions. I only know for sure of two instances:
-Lakers always wear white at home on Sunday games
-Cavaliers wore navy blue road alts in every away game in the 2007 Playoffs
I've also heard that Detroit wears red on the West Coast exclusively-- I'm not sure about that, and any Detroit fans who could clear that up would be welcome to do so.
Change the jersey right before the game if the circumstance fits for your team or for the other team.
By the way, any news on the Bucks red alternate? They will wear it 15 times this year, and they wore it once at home already for the home opener.Comment

Very nice thread should request a sticky. This is going to make my association even better. Too bad garbage teams still make the playoffs while teams like rockets, suns, spurs tend to miss the playoff ever year in my associations. Wish there was a way to fix this. i need a realistic playoff picture.

Just tried this:
For crowd volume....In association/season....
The team chemistry = crowd volume
For example, I just played the Knicks in NY. Knicks chemstry = 30%--before game, changed crowd voulme to 30. It was kinda dead in the garden. Next game at home with sixers(me). Team chemistry = 68--before game changed crowd volume to 68. Big difference in atmosphere.O.G. - Original Gamer '87 NES

More realism = O.S. Outsiders roster edits. Pretty much takes care of player accessories and ratings and such.
Thanks, nogster and trailblazer. Your roster is the ish, but the game is just not worthy. Thanks for your hardwork, though.
Cool thread.

Seems to me a feature in which one human player could coach a team while the other human player played as the opponent would be interesting.Comment

Are you still playing 2k9? This is a nice thread, please don't take it off course....EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
