The delay had absolutely nothing to do with EA's "trailer". I am in the know, i know why it was delayed. Once it comes, i am sure they will say. Nervous? i dont think so, but for the live players, i hope their game is good competition is great. Cant wait for football to be like that once again. I dont even have a football game to play anymore

No it has more to do with 2k's marketing department flat out sucking than anything at all to do with EA. Look at NHL, we're just not finally getting some screenshots for a game thats 7 and a half weeks from store shelves.

Ppl, just ignore michaeljordanjr, he's clearly a ***** and this thread is about 2K10 news not a thread about bashing 2K10.

So go back to the LIVE forums michaeljordanjr and pray that LIVE10 is better b/c it seems that you guys seem to think LIVE will top 2K every year but unforntunately they never do. Check the sales statistics and reviews from every gaming site over the years and see the rating comparasions.

Until the game comes out, you don't know which one will be better alright. I'm just saying facts are facts get them straight before you speak your mind since clearly 2K has been delivering the better basketball than EA Sports has been for awhile now.

I agree that 2K should do a better job in marketing their game but I guess they feel that it is not necessary since they know that ppl will buy their game regardless because it's the best basketball game on the market anyways.

Also marketing/blogs and so forth has nothing to do with the quality of the game, the more commericals/blogs/marketing a company invest into a game does not mean that the game will be better than their counterpart, it all has to do with the content when it comes out then the buyers/reviewers can judge which is the better game.

So for those who think that EA Sports is going to produce the better basketball game b/c it has invested so much in their marketing schemes, you guys need to think again and be true to yourselves. Don't get brainwashed thinking LIVE 10 will finally be on top since it's release more info than 2K at the moment, just look back at the history and see which game has garnered the better game rating and better sales numbers.

People here fall for it all the time. Just becuase they show more stuff about the game, doesnt mean their game will be better or anything. Both games come out on the SAME exact day. I dont know why people get their panties in a bunch about things. lol

Ya totally agree with you kcxiv, ppl these days buy into the hype before they buy the game. I guess EA has done a good job making ppl believe that this year is the year that they finally top 2K. But ppl have to be smarter than that when they spend their money and take a look back at history to see which brand has produced the superior game so far.

So if an employee working for the Cardinals as a groundskeeper goes on Tweeter and says that there will be information forthcoming on Boldin being dealt soon, is that a Team announcement?

I've seen pull-up jumpers has in the game, but probably not at a rate some (or most) would like.

The reason we are going so hard guys is NOT because we are Live fanboys. Truth be told I haven't brought an NBA Live game since 06. We are going hard because we are informed gamers that isn't blinded by reputation. Your only as good as your current game. 2k7 was thee BEST basketball game in terms of authenticity I ever played. Before that 2k1 on the Dreamcast had my heart. But truth be told the past couple 2k's been dropping the ball. 2k9 looks cleaned up and well tuned with a cool low post game but besided that I can't point out anything else that they did to push the envolope. With that head start, 2k9 should have felt and looked like we were watching the NBA. Kobe running like kobe. Wade running like wade etc. They added a few sig dunks and layups here and there but the idea for sig moves in 2k7 was by 2k10 players where individuals with little to NO generic moves. Instead 2k9 has more generic sh!t then 2k7. That's hustling backwards if you as me. I never been a fan of Rob Jones gameplay. 2k3 and 2k4 were horrible to me. Idk maybe I'm bugging. But 2k9 basically made them vulnerable. So much so in 1 yr Live has the potential to take the crown, and BOY don't let EA have a better product. You thought 2k did something with the sticker on front #1 franchise. EA will blitz them, commericals, ad's on the pc, radio plugs, along with word of mouth, etc. I'm trying to call it like it is. Based on the 2k10 pic the game looks like 2k9 again a little sharper graphically but the arena had no lcd thing around the base of the top balcony. Imma hold judgement til more news is released. But 48 laws of power. No one likes meek things/ ppl. They have to show confidence and show the product. Forget NHL 2k10. EA has Madden that didn't release as well as NHL 10. Still we see NBA Live 10 news. Say what you want. I spoke my peace... Peaceeee!!!

Imma hold judgement til more news is released.

Take a deep breath and do yourself a favor and do this.

Realize a lot of guys are flying high on trailers, blogs, pics and whatever because they are basketball fans.

No one has any idea what 2k is doing in the forums.

We have no idea if they addressed everyone's major concerns this year. They could have or couldn't have. But a lot of guys are already damning them off of SILENCE. People are throwing out a few years of great games and NBA authenticity for the sake of a trailer or a blog.

Guys, if you're here on OS, I would hope you're better than that. Let's wait until we get ALL the info before we start proclaiming anything.

The best example I could use is when buying a used car... one guy has a great car and he's selling you on every little thing it does, making it sound like it's the ideal car you've always been looking for. The other guy, while a bit more quiet and understated, is selling you a great car but doesn't really say much and instead focuses on just letting the car sell itself. He's confident in the quality of the car.

Either way, we'll all be driving a great car come the new NBA season.
