Thanks for all the hard work Ruben. I'm streaming it through my laptop and it works perfectly. I'm using the ESPN theme for the intro, end of quarter highlights and the POTG instead and it adds a bit of authenticity which makes the game near perfect imo.

Guys, I have figured out the mystery of what was causing me to have music continue to play after a foul and throughout FT attempts.

First, I redid all the music. Redownloaded everything, deleted my settings, everything. I streamed the music to my Xbox using TVersity instead of Media Center this time. After setting everything up, I tried it out and it worked perfectly. No music in FT attempts this time, and the music not playing way too much like before (there was never a silent moment it seemed before). Therefore, at first I thought the problem was Media Center streaming the music and TVersity fixed it.

However, when I went into the settings then to adjust volume levels, I ran into a problem. I adjusted the "2k Beats in game Volume" audio setting. It starts out default at 0, and I raised it up to around 40. I then started a game, and it was back to the music during FTs problem. I set it back to 0, and then it was fixed.

So apparently, in the audio settings menu, the "2k Beats In Game Volume" slider setting actually adjusts the frequency of how much the music is played. NOT actually the VOLUME, as the description would have you believe. So when I was raising this setting, it was causing the music to be played more and more frequently, thus causing it to play during FT attempts. THAT was the problem.

I find the music hard to hear at times, so I guess to make it louder, you need to take the other sound settings down rather than adjusting the 2k Beats Volume setting, as it has more to do with the frequency that the songs are played than it does the volume of them.

With custom music set at Away and Defense chants, how often do you guys hear actual "Defense" chants.

I hear them very rarely and mostly custom music.

Oddly enough if I take out custom music from Away and Defense chants than I hear custom sounds like 20% on Home Up and Home chants. Confused... any tips?

I hear them quite a bit Altimus, what I cannot get to work is the Player Specific sounds. When I press Y it brings up the player names, I click the player and add the sound, but the little white button does not light up and save with a sound. Any ideas?

Just have to share this...

My friends and I went to the Bobcats-Cavs game the Friday after Thanksgiving. I've been using these custom sounds in my Bobcats franchise for a while now and after having been to an actual Bobcats' game this season, I recall almost every song I heard being played in-game as a part of the Bobcats playlist that I downloaded.

Guys, I need some serious help.. ive been reading almost everypage and all it did was confuse me.

I downloaded the file and extracted it to my music.

then i went to media center and syncd my xbox to it.

then i went to the game to arena music manager and nothing was there

I know i completely missed some steps.. will someone please help

Does the Custom music work with My Player? Is it one of those things you have to set up before you start it?

Yea if you already have a game mode in progress like an association you will have to restart.. but i havent seen anything about the my player thing

This may have been asked before but, I notice that some arenas do the "Day-O' chant with the crowd participating and others don't. Is there a way to set that up or is it just random?

HUGE thanks to you RubenDouglas aka WallyHoop. Unbelievable undertaking here. I just tried it streaming and it really adds that extra layer of authenticity. Old School OS always comes through.
