10 minutes to completion. im finishing up this excel spreadsheet with the playlists listed by arena/team. itll help tremendiously.

Upon downloading, I will also try and help those that need to burn, ripn and create playlists on your xbox 360.

As you will see, there are 29 team folders and inside each of those is a tipoff song and tip playlist, along with ANY team specific LONG song and any HOMEUP/AWAYUP team specific song. So if you play it smart with your burning, you would burn all the team specific stuff inside those team folders, along with the tipoff songs, and then mess with the other stuff.. I call those few team specific songs, the stragglers. because you will need to create the main playlists, and then later Add that onto a current playlist, then save as its own name.

you'll see. easier to mess around with playlists, and see, than to really describe it in depth

Man, I think imma have to restart my association so I can incorporate the custom sounds. I'm only about 10 games deep so it won't be too bad.

*it's 85% similar or higher, to the file originally released around launch of the game. Some minor tweaks and a few additions. It's not a world changing upgrade, but an upgrade non the less. so if youre 50 games deep in association mode or happy with what you got. this may not be for you.

Im sorry to be that guy...but I was under the impression these didnt work so I havent been reading the thread....I tried to search but couldnt find the answer...

How to I get these files straight to my 360? Thas what most of you guys are doing right?

Alright Wally, now that I have them extracted to my WMP playlist, what do i do... burn each one to a CD-R?

step 1 in whatever you do is. BURN as MUSIC DISC.. ie, 74-80 minutes.. you cannot burn as a data disc or mp3 disc

most people found success burning in PARTS.
some do all tipoff tracks on one cd-r.
LONG tracks may need to be split into 3-4 discs
HOME/AWAY up court tracks can be on 1-2 discs
MENU TRACKS can be 1-2 discs.
all team specific stuff including long and homeup, and player sounds could be another set of 1-2 discs.

Burning them by artists may not be ideal .

Most of the tracks are split up nicely in folders for easy ripping.

if anyone is interested, I guess I can go about undoing all the team folders, and going back to just core ROOT folders, where all LONG, all HOMEUP, all TIPOFF, and all MENU tracks are in just 5 neat folders. but that leaves divvying up the tracks to you.

i guess ill try to do all home/aways on one

longs, menus etc all on seperate CD's then put them on the 360 HDD

burn a cd and rip them to your 360 or stream them from your computer to your 360 (if you have a pc use TVersity) not sure if TVersity works for macs

yes, that is likely the case. I saved as the default wpl, which has worked for me with my method.. easiest "fix" would be to play each playlist, and "save playlist as...." then change the format to m3u, leaving the same name intact. ~5-10 minutes of work. unless travesty can do a mass change from wpl to m3u.. im not sure

29 playlists are among the 29 team folders (for the tipoff playlists), so they arent all in the MY PLAYLISTS folder that you will see as one of two main folders.. May I suggest, going to start, search on your pc. all files.. location in my music, and search *.wpl. You could then see a comphrensive list of what is in all of the folders.. or just check each folder yourself for a playlist file.

one word of caution with playlists, atleast with wpls:
if you move the playlist location, you are screwed. It somehow needs to stay exactly where it was saved initially. so if you wanted a different name or it to be saved in a new location, you have to open the current working playlist file, and then "save playlist as" and select the right format and location. thats why a few seem to be randomly placed. I saved them there initially and I would have to do some extra work to get all of the playlists in one folder. for me, its all cosmetic, as once you get in the game, they all show up together anyways, in the menu.
