I just wanted to say that for some reason, I can only choose from my saved playlists on my computer. I can only stream.

First off I want to say thanks to everyone who had a part in this project and making it available to all of us. Being that I still have a 20GB HDD that is nearly full I'm unable to load all of the music to the drive. However I use a program called Tversity to stream digital content throughout my home and have been experimenting with it since getting 2K10 and it has been helpful. One downside is if you want to only assign a single player a sound such as say the "Charles Barkley - Ginobili" sound, you'd have to create a playlist with just that one track on there. Also when using Tversity the game only pulls in playlist so individual sounds/songs wont be available.

To create playlists I use windows media player. You basically just drag and drop the sounds you want into the list pane (its the section that says "drag items here to create a playlist). Once you have your playlist all ready to go click the drop down arrow where it says 'now playing' and select 'save playlist as'. Save the playlist as an M3U file and save it to the folder of your choice.

I've only been working with this for a day or two but it works well so far. I'm having the same issues with POTG, Replay, Highlight and Halftime as well. If I figure out a fix I'll be sure to fill everyone in.

So streaming does work? Good to know. I thought it would put some stress on the system but if it doesn't, even better.

But yeah, the last 4 options not working is lame.

Can you guys try the player specific option for when they score? I keep forgetting to try it out. See if works at home only or by stadium.

This is confusing as hell! Haha

basically on the XBOX dashboard area where your Music Library is located and where you can edit track names/create playlists, is where you will be creating your "playlists" for the game. Nothing is done in game other than choosing said playlists.

No IN GAMe browsing for specific "songs" within those playlists or even on your harddrive in other albums or folders.. Its all by PLAYLIST. s

so youll be creating dozens or hundreds for each event

im having a problem. I finished all my burning and made all my playlist. Now I need to set them up but I dont remember the arena names. Can some one post the arena names and what teams they go to in the same way it is in the 2k playlist? please

I'm going to try what I do with the annual Smackdown games. I open a song in Windows Media Player, which is what I use to stream to my 360. I then just save it to its own playlist, using the song's name. That way there's not a lot of tagging or typing. In the WWE games, any playlist I've created in Windows Media Player is selectable in game. It reads the playlists from WMP and sorts them under User Playlists.

Seems much easier than trying to do this through the Xbox and using a controller. We'll see how it works out. I know when I add a song to Smackdown, it takes all of 10 seconds for me to add a theme and assign it in game. I hope this is the same.

Man, tell me about it. I actually dont even have the game yet and won't for a couple of days. That actually may be a good thing though. Maybe by that time somebody will have figured out what the hell is going on.

I have saved PLAYLISTS in my my music which is picked up on the xbl stream. but it doesnt get picked up in game. I dont think its possible unless it has something special to do with media center...

EDIT:.... NOW the playlists from my computer get picked UP... Innnnnnnnnnteresting..

why is it not consistent? all this WORK for nothing lol with renaming. its it all possibly with playlists via a computer.. OMG

so basically you have to create a playlist for every single song to put with each individual team? For example if you want 5 diff timeout songs for say the lakers, you need to create 5 diff playlists from those songs after burning them to the xbox?
