This is what I did:


Downside of doing the burning method is, it will make doing team specific music more tedious as you will need to rename each track from "track 1,2,3" to "Knick long" etc.

If you decided to burn them to cds then:

1 for Tipoff sounds
1 for Home up sounds
1 for Away up sounds
3 for Long sounds

Since the guys have said menu music is broken I did not bother to burn those.

1. Once you've burnt them, you will have to rip each cd onto your Xbox hard drive. Be sure to edit the album and artist name before you rip each to easily locate them after.

2. Once you've ripped all 6, one by one you must create a playlist for each album. Again ensure you name the playlist accordingly.(i.e HOME, LONG,)

3. Once that's done load up 2k10, go to "arena music" and they should be there. From there just add them to their respective sections. Again I just added them to "ALL ARENAS" just to get a vibe of how well the reverb would mix with the in-game ambience and Future and Ruben did an excellent job with that..

Now from these three steps I did not go into detail on how to accomplish the tasks(i.e create playlist, rip to Xbox hard drive). Those are things I'm hoping you can do bro.

I just set up my extender. This thing works like a thing of beauty.
Whenever I get the game, or when im sittin here with nothing to do I'll do my playlist.

Just wanted to let you guys know, if you are using the 360 Music Player it plays that specific song you were listening to instead of that NBA 2K theme they use for the intros

Hmmmm for some reason I never hear the upcourt music, all I hear is the usual "dun dun dundundun and the crowd yelling lets go cavs or somethin along that line. Long music works for timeouts n quarter breaks and what not jus Im never hearin the upcourt music

nice vid, quick question - did u set the playlist that the song was in as home upcourt, or home chant or w/e cuz im kinda confused i cant get my home upcourt to work

well first i saved a playlist with the homecourt up songs then named it "Home Up" (you can name it whatever u want).

then in the arena music manager, i selected All Arenas then clicked on my playlist (Home Up) then matched it with the Homecourt Up on the other side. hope that helps.

I just thought I would post this from the NCAA 10 Stadium Sounds thread. It is from last year. It is good for anyone without a HD like myself. If there is a better way now, a year later to do this process please let me know. I am not sure if it is any more time consuming the burning all the disc?

some arenas, like staples are just more prone to use the ingame sound than the custom.. out of 25 trips up and down the court, i heard my custom stuff TWICE.

at MSG, you can hear it almost 60% of the time or more.

some arenas, like staples are just more prone to use the ingame sound than the custom.. out of 25 trips up and down the court, i heard my custom stuff TWICE.

Details like this really add to the game's atmosphere. Do you intend to try to share your folder setup when complete? I'm sure there's some wrinkles to iron out, especially with those last four options, but is it likely you'll upload your sorted files and / or playlists for others to use?

How do we stream from PC to XBOX 360? Do you just hook up an ethernet cable from the 360 to your computer?


And wtf M$ and 2k? Why is this so damn hard? What happened to the glory days of 2k5 when you just saved the songs to your HD and put a damn check mark next to them for all the events you wanted them to play?

Why do we have to be IT majors just to listen to music?

if you have TVersity, you just need to hook up the ethernet cable from your 360 to your modem. The TVersity program then streams the music from your computer to the modem and the modem sends it to the 360. I hope that makes sense
