NBA 2K10 Custom Music Thread

For custom PA/broadcast sounds:

During pre-game, I'd definitely suggest the following (basically songs the NBA has used as "anthems" so to speak, and other tracks):

Kanye West- Amazing
Kevin Rudolf- Let It Rock
Queen- We Will Rock You
"Final Countdown" (can't remember the artist)
Fort Minor- Remember The Name

And generally any mainstream rap instrumentals also.

"Home up court" and "Away up court" I'd say could probably just be any mainstream rap instrumentals you can find as well. Also the Addam's Family theme song thingy.

I'll watch some NBA games I have on DVR to see what else they use, and everyone else should feel free to post suggestions in this thread.

I do wonder if we're gonna be able to somehow find MP3s of the ESPN/TNT music overlays...

The Cavs intro is Jeezy's "Put on for my city". They also bump that when Bron does something nasty.

They play the Godfather horn riff when Mo Williams makes a big shot.

Mick Boogie, a popular local DJ spins the instrumentals and beats for the Cavs all game long. Funny though, they don't do it coming up court, but rather during the first 10 seconds of the half court possession. It starts when the ball crosses half court.

The most common:

Down for my N**** - Snoop Dogg
PSA - Jigga
Pop Bottles - Birdman & Wayne
Champion - Kanye
Day & Night - Kid Cudi
Flashing Lights - Kanye

Lots of Jay-Z and Kanye beats. They also have this one beat they play on big defensive possessions, but I don't know the name of it.

Don't they also play the Hypnotize instro when somebody on the Cavs hits a shot (forget who)?

Also, when Ramon Sessions hits a shot for the Bucks, they play the Batman theme (I think), although we can't even change individual music cues as far as I know...

i remember there was a custom soudtrack feature in 08, is it in 09? and in 10 ?

Sometimes when I catch a game on tv I hear the beginning of Welcome to the Jungle by Gund N' Roses. I usually hear it when a team is coming from a timeout in the 4th like at the Warriors' games.

If you notice the top of the screenshot, there is a listing for "ALL ARENAS". and your LT and RT for what im assuming to be playlists for all the arenas in the game.

thus we should start creating Authentic playlists for each team. I saw some guys already mentioning a few teams. I want strickly authentic music being played.

Time to do some homework on this matter.

yep.. Celtics games always play Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City it seems like.
