unless it is NOTED in the file name, it's pretty much up to YOU. thats the beauty of this whole thing. 95% of these songs have been heard at various nba arenas. Ronyell has a thread going with a team by team playlist going if you want to go that route.

A unedited set will be uploaded today, so with that , you can edit it yourself and place just about anything anywhere you want

Will the unedited set have reverb? I'm curious to hear how the songs sound in-game without the reverb. And also, do you know who did the organ sounds? I was trying to find a program to replicate the organ sounds played in the Staples Center but I had no luck. I'd planned on adding a few Staples Center specific organ sounds.

all the unedited tracks will not have reverb or audio changes. They are all CUT to 70 seconds or below though. thats the only restriction.

momentous posted up a test :

It sounds like its coming from the broadcast essentially. if thats what you want at tipoff, then youll have that choice later this evening.

                RE "KNICKS" organ
I found them online. I did no actual editing. I sent them to a knick fan and he said they were close enough, so they truly arent 100% specific and accurate for the knicks.. we did our best though.

so yeah, if a program can be found to replicate them EVEN better, go right ahead. Right now we're just working with what what we had, which wasnt alot.

lol. That's why I was wondering about the organ sounds you already had. They sound really good . I thought maybe you used something like FL Studio. Great job putting this all together. I'll keep looking for a program to do more sounds and I'll share them if I can pull anything off.

Note to the newcomers and NEW Downloaders.

90% of the team specific tracks were suggested as such in this very thread. Many may not be entirely "authentic" if that is what you are going for. For Example, "Warriors- come out to play". Is a track denoted for the GS Warriors. Does it play in real life? I doubt it. Was it suggested and does it sound cool? yes.

We'd hoenstly be stuck at 20 TOTAL tracks if we were going for "does it play in real life" authenticity.

SO our approach was slightly more broad and vague

So you may see a OKC thunder file for the "thunder cats". Again, its funny, and appears to work for the situation to give us some variety. Likewise, with the thunder storm soundeffects. Entirely "MADE UP", but not outside the realm of what would be played.
                    ----------------

with the nba season starting in a couple weeks, theres no doubt this thread can continue with adding in more and more stuff

How can I add the ESPN Theme for when the game loads?... I only see the option for Tip Off and such, but nothing for the theme of the broadcast.

                      Help..

Yeah I was actually joking when I submitted those tracks. I'm surprised you all included them.

Ok I download the file. I am not a tech dude like most of you.

I unzipped the file, now what do I do? Burn each separate folder onto an individual cd?

What is reverb by the way?

                              Basic Instructions:

                              1. Download the file.
                              2. Unzip the file w/ Winzip. A folder with the files will appear.
                              3. Burn the songs using Itunes or CD burning software. You must burn them as a audio cd NOT as a data disc with mp3s
                              4. Insert the CD into the 360, go to the music library and rip the cd.
                              5. After the cd is ripped, create a playlist by going into Saved Playlists and selecting Edit/Create Playlists. Select the songs you want to include in the playlist.

Again I'd like to know if there are plans to tweak and expand this project. Most of the files came out good, but some sound a bit off. I'm not sure if it's the reverb that's making the track sound bad or if the original file was low quality. Two tracks come to mind on this. the Michael Jackson Wanna Be Starting something, and the Miami Vice theme.

Also I had no idea you all were putting in the Godzilla theme. This would have made for a good replacement.
