real quickly.
i use wavepad sound editor. reverb settings are done for all in arena music events ( homeup, away up, chant Def., chant team, long, and tipoff). they were done for all of the in game music files we have. My reverb settings may not help you. but it was nearly 75% of the maximum. When you add reverb, i would go to the highest level, then tone it down it abit.
Long event is for timeouts and end of qrt. beginning of qrt breaks.
I would not have any song longer than 70 seconds. even then, the longest would be a 60 second timeout. If you cut off the timeout early, the song cuts out too. so dont worry about length being an issue. It can be too short in the home up/chant catergory so make sure those last as long as the shot clock.
tipoff songs start for you and end. its all cut off approriately in game. right as the tipoff happens, the song ends, no matter how long it may go on for. the game cuts it off. in every event, its cutoff just right.
as far as adding new stuff, i was thinking about it, but its a huge undertaking.. I really liked the miami heat playlist that someone heard and put together. i saw a dallas game tonight and heard some unique stuff, but nothing really i would want to add or change my setup for. its all pretty much the same to me. if others want to get on board and do it RIGHT, im all for helping out. this initial project was more of a kick start for those that wanted to just play right away
