sorry guys. i really dont have the answers to many of these questions. a lot of my troubles were personally answered by trial and error. 90% of my time was spent on the editing end. the rest is likely up to you to figure out how to get in game appropriately.
there is an area in your 360 dashboard menu for a PC connection test, along with some WMP11 menus where you can configure stuff correctly. along with some router stuff that you can troubleshoot.
as far as getting defensive chants and just certain stuff to play with any consistency, I have not found that.. many arenas are different in how songs are distributed, so you may hear more ingame chants or you may hear some custom home up stuff with very little away up. It got to the point where I just decided to standardize every teams playlist and give them the same playlist for all 4 court events.
The system that we have currently have present is far from perfect as I may hear the same song three straight times as I go to timeouts, even with a big 30 track playlist. It just doesnt randomize that great. same with up court events. I chose to get it to where it was just good enough and leave it at that.
out of many dozen games, i have heard many glitches/bugs occur with these custom sounds present. many songs appear to overlap one another in the up court situations.. sometimes a song isnt even played during a timeout. It;s great that theres a feature here now, but I dont think its wise to dig too deep or attempt to find what arena plays what more frequently as it may take away time from playing the game.
RE: PA VOLUME levels and whats best etc... test them out in game. play at a certain level, hear it, and fine tune to your liking... likewise with everything else. Like I mentioned before, the group# folders are the key to this whole project. you can have one playlist or hundreds, its really up to you. what I personally shared is what I did and has no true authenticity backing whatsoever.
RE: Day-0 chant. I think there is one custom sound for that. and I also believe that there is an IN game sound of that as well. so you may be hearing what hte game came with mixed with the custom sound tracks.. likewise with the fake adams family theme. some arenas are more prone to playing certain songs than others but for me personally, thats too much of an undertaking. throwing one playlist into those 4 events does the job just fine. its either that or spending another 50 hours fine tuning something that likely wouldnt matter much.
lastly regarding the file and the main setup I shared. thats what I personally am using and just cookie cuttered it out for others to simply plug and play if they could. If they couldnt, those main group# folders could be rearranged to however we all so choose. nothing about this file rings true "authenticity" as those sounds are played only at those venues. I could have layed it out better in the past weeks, but I think the majority understand what the latest zip file is about.
Lastly for those newcomers checking in on the last page. There were basically two main parts to this thread that can confuse people.
-To begin the thread and through to many many pages, a zip file was created (the one that is linked to in Pared's thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-360-only.html)
-That zip is essentially the main launch file that was compiled together.
-Very basic with just a few main folders with many files inside of each
Now later on down the line just a few weeks ago, around post #1441, another zip was compiled, using the original files but adding in a few more songs, and bringing together some PLAYLISTS that could be streamed.
-team folders were included as well
In general, the old file works just as well as the new file, although the new zip contains ~50-60 more songs.. The folder structure is a bit complicated at first glance when looking at the new zip, so going back to that initial zip is not a bad idea to start as there are just 3-4 core folders to work off of
