Because it's a video game, and they can do whatever they want. The intent of the video is not to appeal to anyone's arbitrary standards it's to show two guys playing ball however they want. It may get annoying playing people like that, but the only thing that matters is whether or not smart defense can work against that style of play.

As for the video itself it's been a mixed bag for me. The good thing is that the speed is turned up which means with normal speed we should be able to read and react much better on defense. Also the frequency of shots missed on HOF seems to be much higher. In addition to that defenders seem to get back on defense much quicker after a made shot. Interior shots seem to be much more blockable last year than this year as well. I'm also seeing guys who have Gatorade icons missing shots that they'd most likely hit if they weren't so tired.

What I'm not liking is how easy it is to push the ball after a defensive rebound. Sometimes bad offense leads to good offense, but it seems like pushing the ball after a defensive rebound will be far too rewarding.

Not to say I'm disappointed but the video gameplay isn't really anything special. It's Aight. Improved from 2k9 but nothing ground breaking.

I didnt have problem getting back in 2k9...im sure they didnt trash the logic there lol But ill stick to pared and momens impression thread...this is like trying to decide on a car while watching a montage of it breaking down...

more than anything, out of this you should be looking at CPU teammates and what they can/ or cannot do out there. Right now they just arent making it a challenge for the human player..

just spotted a transistion defense situation where the CPU teammates, instead of going back to guard the basket on a miss, he would stay with the player he was guarding 30 feet from the basketball. fundamentally that big guy should be going back to guard the basket and WAIT for his opponent, not jog up court with him... damn

People need to understand that there's NEVER going to be a cheeseproof bball game. NEVER. Any game that has some exploits will be exploited regardless of whatever settinga/sliders you're playing on if people want to exploit it.

Passing and switching at the warp speed that they are playing is causing all kinds of match up problems. If one of the guys chose to slow down and play properly it probably resulted in a better flow to the game. I want to see the cpu play vs a human and then I'll judge, I rarely play on line so no problem for me.
