man that dude who is playing with the jazz, he really sucks bad. There were soooo many wide open defensive wholes in his game. Im so glad to see that the AI wont let those weak defensive get by, the AI seems to make you pay for any weakness......dame, i smell a great season in association

Im happy with it...some of the slower shots were just unrealistic last year...you hardly see anyone get blocked straight up in the NBA, and it happened way too much in 2k9....even people w\ slower releases can get shots of in peoples faces...

Now if CONTESTING isnt done right, then it could be a problem...The older 2k's did a awesome job of this...even if you were under a player when they shot, it took that into account...

co-sign. slow shots in 2k9 was one of the reasons the floor never opened up. by the time you released a shot even when open, the d was able to close out and potentially block/disturb the shot imo.

It seems difficult to blow by the defender in this game....I want ot see some in the face and in the lane dunks

That's true. I think the the defensive sliding was a big factor in this too, as well as the spacing. They were able to cover too much ground too quickly.

Well, I'm concerned. There were 3 dunks in the first Minute and 30 seconds by one team against the cpu. Considering that only 5% of all shots in the NBA are dunks, that's alarming.

I am HOPING BEYOND BELIEF that the defensive rotations apply to the pick and roll.

Im not seeing anyone help on the roll... he gets no attention until he gets the ball.

That's true Sage. One thing I think we can say about all the vids released thus far is the help d is light years ahead of 2k9, and the spacing is much better. That will really open up the game this year. I think 2k may want to consider adding more adjusted shot animations when the d is nearby or in position to cut down on dunks. I am really impressed with the a.i. this year though.

players need to actually turn and catch these lead passes...that would make them more realistic.

as of now they catch them all in stride no matter what.

If you watched the whole game, and didn't know it before, it should be clear why VC tunes the the game to play the way it does on the Default Pro level.

Without the game allowing a wide latitude for poor User play, Pasta would have gotten ran out of the gym. The CPU was 100 times better than he was at running their offense and getting good, open looks. Half the shots he did make would not have gone in if the shooting percentages were tuned to be realistically affected by the shot being contested.

As a offline only player, I see a few tweaks that I will need to make, and then I'm going to be golden.

really disappointed. need to wait for neon this year also. WTF.
