Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
Disappointed about the D-Leauge progressions but it's nothing major.
Where is the drop coming from? It would be interesting to see all the drops come from their physical attributes and leave their skills quite close. So if Josh Smith suffered an ACL tear, he'd lose from Speed, Quickness, Vertical etc...Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
I don't have 2k10 yet, but I would imagine that what Mo said about injured players dropping 10-20 points is temporary like in 2k9. For example, let's say Kendrick Perkins (72 overall) gets hurt for 2 months. For those 2 months, his rating might just be in the 50's, but once he gets healthy, he'll be back to his normal 72.Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
my question has to do with the "signature styles" in the beginning of a game. say im playing with the cavs in my association. i heard that lebron and daniel gibson do their salute handshake in the begining!!! well my question is what will happen if daniel gibson gets traded, what will happen, will he do it with another player, or will it just stop???Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
From what I'm hearing and seeing from the association pictures, that is only in player mode, we still only get that same boring view from last year in assocation. But any clarification from the guys that have the game, would be greatly appreciated.
Games I'm playing FOREVER: NFL2K5, That is all.Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
Is it possible to choose which teams you want to control after you start up Association mode? Say I choose to be the Celtics, but I see a team with a very good shooting guard sign another good shooting guard to an expensive contract or draft a future superstar at the same position. Could I take control of that team long enough to clear up their logjam while maintaining control over my original team, or will I need to save an extra game at the beginning of every offseason again?Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
Agree 100%. Maybe something for next year, injuries affect the relevant stats. eg: leg injuries affect speed/jump stats, whereas finger dislocations/breaks, or arm injuries affect shooting/stealing hussle stats. Something to look at maybe?Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
Question for Mo: Has the asking price for the lower-level free agents been fixed or toned down? I would always get a tad bit frustrated in 2k9 when a guy like Dee Brown or Orien Greene would demand $2-4 million per year, when in reality they would be lucky to obtain minimum contracts. Has this been addressed in 2k10?Comment

Re: The Association - What do you want to know?
D-League progression is fine, so before you go calling for a patch (without ever playing it mind you), consider these two things:
1) Progression happens in the offseason.
2) Sending any ole player down doesn't mean he will get better. The player needs to have potential, or more specifically, a ceiling he can reach. This ceiling can only be reached by getting him minutes (whether they be in the NBA or the D-League). Just because you send a player down to the D-League doesn't mean he automatically pops up next year rated 2-5 points higher. That would be silly.Comment
