Re: NBA 2K10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (360)
I was a little dissapointed with the demo, but the retail version plays alot more like the combine.
There are a ton of contextual movement animations that aren't in the deom, which makes the players feel alot heavier. Seems like they tuned the demo to reclaim some love after all of our gushing about Live's free and easy movement, so moving around doesn't look or feel as fluid as the retail. There are more escape dribbles, and non iso dribble moves that can kick in just from moving around. I was KILLING my friend with Baron's handles.
I've lowered the speed down to 40 for my SP games, which gives it a little more of the sluggishness and "weighty" feel I liked better in 2K8.
Also, the defense is alot, and I mean ALOT better than in the demo. If you play a good mix of on and off ball D, you can really limit an opponent. Dropping passes off to cutters in the lane is still too easy though. We played on HOF, and there were still alot fewer plays made by off ball defenders. This is one thins I liked alot better in the combine as alot of those lane passes were kickballs. The toned the kickball and off-ball auto-positioning thing way down from the DC.
Used the Clipps in my very first game...funny, Griffen felt like a rook with limited moves, but they were effective. He had an open lane on one play and I thought we'd see some nasty showtime stuff from the kid, but he ended up doing a simple 2 hander. Really love this so far.
Okay...I'm going to ignore the demo. Won't even bother d/l if /when they release it for the PS3.
Going to roll with the DC until 2K10 is out and then jump straight in as either the Bulls or the Jazz.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (360)
Most of the complaints i hear on here are some of the things that a lot of people were saying needed to be put into 2k10 only a few months ago. Ballhandlers too slow - on 2k9 there were complaints about cheesers hogging the turbo button all the time. Can't hit a shot on HOF - there were complaints about high FG% in 2k9. I'm happy if 2k have made the game more sim.
I just don't get some of you guys sometimes!!!

Delonte's jumper still needs to be changed to Webster, but from the few games and scrimmages Ive done so far, the rest of the Cavs sig stuff is good.
Mo Williams shot release is even quicker than it was last year. It's literally a flick of the stick or a tap of the button. His leaners are nasty too.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: NBA 2K10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (360)
Ok the PS3 doesn't get a demo this week, I made a post, but it got locked saying there have been multiple threads about this.
So, where are the threads about this? I searched and didn't find anything other than a various post in other threads.
Anyways, pretty ridiculous. No PS3 demo before the game releases, this makes the "Which Game to get this year" Decision VERY VERY EASY!
Is there any explanation as to why? Why is there not a PS3 demo before the game releases? Just wondering, again, I dont see a post about the PS3 version.

there is a demo, but no game play only combine. That's why my post before you asks if you have to play through the combine to get to game play. I downloaded it last night like 9pm from PS3 store demos.NFL: 49ers
NHL: Devils
MLB: MetsComment
