The game gets better and better after what I felt was an iffy demo. I'm starting to get the hang of the post play, which took some adjusting.

Where did Pared post his sliders? I'd love to see what he recommends.

Ok just some early impression I got the game last night:

pro:

-finally better spacing on the court
-some nice new post moves & awesome new dunks
-player accessories/shoes/customization is spot on
-it's easier to shoot off the dribble
-nice nice pace/speed by default
-summer league/ nbdl ^_^
-AI seems improved and PG finally drive and kick the ball out 2 open man; also nice off the ball movement of the team;

cons:
-Mid range game can be even better
-Still to easy to shoot in the paint (but I see more help D than in the past)
-Still lack of long rebounds
-Some camera angles are useless 2 me
-I think that even more animations when we shoot off the dribble/balance are needed...
-I notice random frame rate drop on some arenas...
-Some minors things I can't remember....

overall I like the battle that we'll have in the next years (EA vs 2K) ....Live is improved, but 2K is still the "King" 2 me ^_^

a question:

did some1 played around with the sliders ? are they working properly and cause real change to gameplay if set on other value ? 2k9 would have been a sim too if the bs sliders would have worked... for me the sliders were a top3 major issue in last years game

Got the game something seemed strangely familiar to me, like i played this game before.........

This game reminds me so much of 2k8(chris paul cover)

The graphics, the isomotion, everything, it seems to me like they went back to that particular game and tweaked from there....pop it in and play it and you will see what im talking about

Other than that good game, but like others have said it is getting a little stale, don't have live, never played it on the next gen systems, but after the good reviews i think i might pick it up to try something fresh and new

You will see it...it seems some games it depends on the arenas and most likely you havent tried all 30..Some games i get 0 lag and then certain arenas i get it...its not my xbox (mine is only a month old ) and its most certainly not a TV issue

Incredible that some people think the tv has to do with the framerate issue.

The Show has framerate issues and mostly when you play 1080p

In 720p there is not much but some stadiums like Yankee stadium and Royals stadium has framerate issues...Not as bad when playing 720p but you can see it

this was talked about by a bunch of people in different forums.

NBA 2K10 has framerate issues certain arenas. it is there and you see a lot more people with the issue here and other forums like 2k

it is not their tv. TV has nothing to do with it.

Is the game...Some people might refuse to admit it or they just have the type of eyes that cannot see it but is there....not a game killer but is there

One small thing I'm disappointed about, other than the frame rate garbage.....

I'm playing as Oklahoma City, and the PA announcer refers to James Haren as "#13." Really 2K? He was the third pick in the draft. You can't include his name in the game?

This. I saw no lag in Staples but saw plenty in Oklahoma City and plenty in Oakland.

we should make a list of the arenas where it is there and those that are not having the issue

So far for me

Nuggets
Lakers
Blazers

OKC- What's funny about this though is I was using the 2K cam and the issues where only in the 1st half

2nd half no issues whatsoever

What's worse when facing the basket it was only when I dribbled/passed to the right side

Well I cleared my cache and formated the hdd

the files I had I saved on 2 memory cards that i had for a long time ago

Once I did that I turned off all replays and post shot cutscenes and now i get little lag.....

try that......
