The frame rate has to do with the reading of the disc, correct? Because as I'm playing a ranked game yesterday, I constantly hear the 360 reading the disc. Like, I know it's constantly reading the disc, but I've never heard it before like I did yesterday in the middle of a game.

i have beening playing the 2k series for a while now and after playing 2k10 i see a few glitches that is fairly annoying.
-(FRAME RATE) i guess thats what you call it. almost every time i pass it in the paint it sorta of glitches. or when i dunk or try to rebound it glitches and i miss the rebound. and the rebound issue. there is alittle delay in rebounding. after pressing ( Y ) there is a delay till the player jumps.
-(SUBSTITUTION DURING GAME) is it me or is it hard or really slow to sub players in the game while playing a game. 2k9 had this issue but fixed it in the patch. hopefully they fix it again this year. When ever i press on the D-Pad to put subs in the option skips players and messes up my rotation. and consequently i dont play defense while fixing it and the other team scores. all im asking is to make that option more smoothly.
-(SUBSTITUTION & TIMEOUTS: MANUAL) for some reason ill change it in the main menu and yet during the game it changes back to automatic. PLEASE CHANGE THIS!
-(FATIGUE RATE) dont get me wrong i love how you cant od with the turbo. but can you make it alittle more realistic?. comon players get really tired within 3 minutes in the game even if i dont use the player. if you keep the same fatigue level please make the subing option during the game more smoothly.
-all the other glitches ive seen has been posted but these 4 i think might be very important.Comment

I remember reading a similar post somewhere, but it just happened to me.
I had a player run around in circles near mid court. I let this happen for most of the shot clock until I finally passed the ball to him and noticed the turbo meter was depleted on that player. It's nothing game breaking, but an oddity nonetheless.
Situation:
I was playing as the Cleveland Cavs vs. Memphis Grizzlies (CPU). I brought the ball up with Mo Williams after a Grizzlies score. LeBron James was the inbounder and was the player that ran around in circles once crossing mid court.
All-star. 12 min quarters. Default sliders.Comment

usually its the crowd thats invisible when the Knicks play, not the PLAYER, playa!

nope. there are still problems when playing off of the hard drive, and using many of the "fixes" you may see around here such as disconnecting the internet etc. the problem has to do with the crowd, backgrounds, and the game not being able to process everything going on.Comment

Its a minor issue, but I hope they eliminate the forcefield between the player's hands and the basketball. It's so disjointing to watch your player at the free throw line or going for a dunk (especially during replays) only to see that the player's hands aren't even in contact with the ball (by a VERY noticeable margin). I thought 2K fixed this in 2K9?
It makes me scratch my head to see a game so graphically advanced, on a powerful current gen console, have such strange issues like this that should have been attended to immediately. I could understand if the space between the hand and basketball was so indiscernible that it wouldn't even be worth mentioning, but its pretty obvious and I don't know how the developers didn't catch that and take care of it during the development cycle.Comment

In Association Mode, whenever I schedule a practice, the practice will disappear after I play the game it was after (Does not happen when I simulate it). Does this happen to anybody?Comment

I've spent the past couple days tinkering with this game from gameplay to customization. I am one that likes to customize the game from head to toe as far as teams, settings, etc. I didn't even start the "My Player" and "Association" mode yet because of all the issues I've read about it. Here's what I've noticed the most.
- you cannot save anything correctly. It may save temporarily, but the game changes the settings or reverts them back to default whether it be player customization or game settings. I've customized all NBA teams and players only to find out a day later that the game decided to reset all my changes.
- Daniel Green has a different shade body than his head (laughable)
- Taylor Griffin (are you serious 2K) who is that guy?
- framerate issues, teleporting players
- defenders gravitating towards the lane always leaving players open even when the help defense is there
These are only a couple things, but from what I've read, 2K has so much to fix. The question is, how could this game have gone gold with so many problems? What were the testers/developers doing after playing hour and hours of this game and how did they not notice most of these issues? All in all I think this game is good, but it baffles me how in a week's time, there are so many things we see that are not right, but for months and months the developers play this same game and not fix even the simple flaws like "saving". Hoping for the best with a patch.Comment

I think the worst part about all this is that it will probably take forever for this patch to come out with so many different issues 2K has to address. I'd be surprised if they are even able to fix all the issues mentioned here, which is the sad part.Comment
