just a tip, center your left stick and gently push towards the defender. I can pretty much post at will now. I do understand you guys because sometimes that 2 player animation starts and your pushed half way around the world. It does need some tweaking but be patience and make sure you center first.

By center, do you mean get your man facing the defender front on?

And do you hold the LT?

Just stop all movement, let go of turbo and iso shoulder buttons and push the left stick towards the defender. The animation starts everytime for me. Just make sure the player is standing still.

Along these lines, the post-up is pretty easy to engage as long as you push lightly with the L stick into the defender. Like, push the stick about a 1/4 to 1/2 ways and you'll get your guy to post-up without any funky animations.

I don't know why they added this stupid "auto post up" this year. Sometimes I think they add bad features on purpose just so they have something to fix for next year's game.

True, it can be cued by pressing lightly on the stick most of the time, but when the game is in a scramble, I'd kill for simply pressing a button.

I playing a ranked game and had 10 seconds left on the shot clock. I had a mismatch I wanted to exploit by posting up Iggy OUTSIDE of the paint. The "automatic' post up animation didn't happen fast enough. Bring back the abilty to manually post up.
