Well like I said not everyone is the same. U do what u like and I do what I like, so why should anyone tell me how to play with my team? I sometimes think this SIM thing gets into peoples head too much and start to worry about what they shouldn't do instead of what's best. Yall can call me what yall want but I feel like mixing it up is the best way.

If you're getting abused by a cheeser who wants to abuse the weak AI and go down low all day, then switch to 2-3 zone and take control of either of the outside defenders or the middle to deny the opposing big the ball/position.

Chances are that they don't know how to use their perimeter players and it will be easy pickings from what's left of the cheesers.
Our purchasing power is being eroded. So especially now, the goods must be held to a standard. We end up happier as consumers, and the companies get a clear message: "We won't tolerate sub-par goods." It's a shame, no one cares to speak with their wallet.

Decrease help defense strength slider for less double teaming and stupid rotations.

I did the same thing, seems as soon I as passed the ball into the post the computer double teamed me, leaving someone wide open under the goal. Lowering actually helped the defense.

Great thread. I tend to switch who I'm guarding quite often and the CPU will exploit that, but I like the idea of it actually being me who dictates what the ball handler will and will not do. Of course if the CPU is getting free for a bunch of 3's then I don't do it as much. Changing your defenses also helps.

I agree, and this is also my rule when playing the CPU. I guard the ball a lot of times. I would rather do the work then constantly rely on the computer. If that's the case I might as well watch CPU vs. CPU games.

i think this is the effectiveness of help D not the tendency for it to happen. let me know if i'm wrong...

You did pay for online roster updates. Do you know why? Thats all Madden really is from year to year, a roster update.

The auto defensive stance is what's screwing me up the most. I'll be running down the court, and suddenly my guy will go to a defensive stance, turn around, and move slower than I want him to. I hate this, and if it's not fixed in 2K11, you can bet I'll become a traitor to NBA 2K series.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't remember the last time that a Defensive strategy thread was "move this slider, move that slider."
