Well like I said not everyone is the same. U do what u like and I do what I like, so why should anyone tell me how to play with my team? I sometimes think this SIM thing gets into peoples head too much and start to worry about what they shouldn't do instead of what's best. Yall can call me what yall want but I feel like mixing it up is the best way.

If you're getting abused by a cheeser who wants to abuse the weak AI and go down low all day, then switch to 2-3 zone and take control of either of the outside defenders or the middle to deny the opposing big the ball/position.
Chances are that they don't know how to use their perimeter players and it will be easy pickings from what's left of the cheesers. Our purchasing power is being eroded. So especially now, the goods must be held to a standard. We end up happier as consumers, and the companies get a clear message: "We won't tolerate sub-par goods." It's a shame, no one cares to speak with their wallet.Comment

Decrease help defense strength slider for less double teaming and stupid rotations.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: Defensive Help Thread: NBA 2K10
I did the same thing, seems as soon I as passed the ball into the post the computer double teamed me, leaving someone wide open under the goal. Lowering actually helped the defense.84% of statistics are uselessComment

Re: Defensive Help Thread: NBA 2K10
Great thread. I tend to switch who I'm guarding quite often and the CPU will exploit that, but I like the idea of it actually being me who dictates what the ball handler will and will not do. Of course if the CPU is getting free for a bunch of 3's then I don't do it as much. Changing your defenses also helps.Last edited by Eddie1967; 10-15-2009, 05:26 PM.Originally posted by jim416You are the 2k Police. :)Comment

Re: Defensive Help Thread: NBA 2K10
The whole point of playing online is to play another human, not let the CPU defend everything. You should guard the ball and the other player should do the same, otherwise the AI is playing the majority of the defense. It's fine to switch to help if they burn the first man, but just laying back and controlling help defense and ignoring the human with the ball is weak. Ideally they will fix the game so that help defense has a brain, but until then, everyone should be playing on-ball defense when you're playing online, as it puts everyone on an even playing field... one player doing nothing but camping as the C or playing passing lanes off-ball ruins the fairness of the whole thing because it's making up for the AI's weaknesses that everyone should be dealing with until they're fixed.Originally posted by jim416You are the 2k Police. :)Comment

When playing the computer be ready for an pick and roll assualt.
When playing against humans... be ready for passes to the insideOriginally posted by wheelman990LOL at these comments!!!!
You did pay for online roster updates. Do you know why? Thats all Madden really is from year to year, a roster update.Comment

Re: Defensive Help Thread: NBA 2K10
The auto defensive stance is what's screwing me up the most. I'll be running down the court, and suddenly my guy will go to a defensive stance, turn around, and move slower than I want him to. I hate this, and if it's not fixed in 2K11, you can bet I'll become a traitor to NBA 2K series.Comment
