This game is AWESOME, simply put. I love playing in my Bobcats association, but I know that I will find more to love the further I go into my association.

I've only scratched the surface of MY PLAYER, which is an addition I enjoy as much as anything else. Think about the other things like this that 2k tried (first person football....LOL)...the MY PLAYER mode is a win.

Don't get me wrong, I love the depth of moves available with Isomotion, I just don't agree with how they're executed on the court.

Take the example I gave you, if you have D Rose outside the right side of the key and do his behind the back dribble, you'll end up outside the left side of the key, it's insane. That may be the most extreme example, but I'm sure the 2k devs themselves know the movement in the game needs major work.

I agree that 2k is superior in just about every way, but the movement system and jumpshot responsiveness need major work. I've been back to 2k since the patch, but I still miss the absolute control of Live. If you put Live's controls into 2k it would be a near perfect basketball game, it's a nice dream.

Movement is about player momentum. Why can't people see this. I know for fact. You don't dribble to the dime in real life. It takes time.

But starting to hate hearing outlooks or reviews like these. "Oh the controls suck. I hate this game" Some people are not even trying to learn. Jump shooting post patch is tough at first I will agree. But it takes time.

Player movement and the perimeter game in general is still lacking. Jumpshooting can feel very unresponsive at times, same thing with Isomotion.

I think they need to completely rehaul the player movement and find a better system than isomotion. Even when it works right, it doesn't look like NBA basketball. D Rose's behind the back move takes him 10 feet to either side, in the NBA dribble moves are compact and explosive.

It didn't bother me as much in previous years because there was no better alternative, but the "other" game really nailed the look and feel of an NBA perimeter game. 2K can't be matched in the paint though, even if some players are still far too effective on short hooks.

Thats a cool idea making a legend and putting him through the My Player process. I may look at making a Isiah Thomas, Magic or Tim Hardaway and see how i go.

they could do an 'nba action' type show weekly. Would be very cool.

I truly love 2k10 after the patch and agree with others that it has overtaken CH2k8 and ID as the best hoops game of all time.

They just need to tighten up the controls, continue to improve association / my player and get rid of the bugs next year and it would be perfect.

Close to perfect. I wonder how they will set My Player next year. Will they have to start a new guy or will you be given the option to upload the same one from the previous season and continue on that same road. Would be cool if they just gave you an option for both ideas. Best part of uploading the same player from last season, it allows for new players who come into the game to have a challenge playing against those users who've been playing the game longer. No different from the real NBA. If 2k implemented some sort of idea similar, it would be great.

^^So how would the players get old?^^ But the only improvement I would love for them to put. Is that Tony hawk underground thing a few year back. when you could take a pic of yourself and put yourself into the game....Thats would be awesome!!!!

I don't have all the answers Jeebs... That's why I added, and I quote myself: "If 2k implemented some sort of idea similar, it would be great." With that said. A feature for aging might not be a bad idea.
