As lame as this may sound, I believe I read an excerpt from a 2K worker last fall who explained that Kevin Harlan's phrase, "Right between the eyes" would warrant a rating change (from E to Teen). I think "With no regard for human life" somehow falls in that same category; can't explain "just sucked the gravity right out of the building" though.

Pre-game intro needs to be longer. I'm about to upload a clip from the Cavs/Sixers game from tonight, and quite frankly, this is the LEAST that we should get from a pre-game intro, and it's almost three times as long as the 2K10 intros.

I wanna see players stretching, listening to music (okay, maybe that's a bit much), fooling around (Dwight/LeBron's pre-game half-court heaves and flashy dunks), dapping each other (EVERYONE, not just one player on their team), pre-game stats that are more than just one player vs one player or one team's this vs the other team's that. Records, injury reports, head-to-head records, Playoff standings if it's in the post-season, etc.

Also, the starting five should not for no good reason be out of their warmups when the game loads onto the court. EVERYONE should be in their warmups before getting ready for the tip, then when the tip is about to happen, the starting five lose the suits.

Something small but cool would be practice jerseys in all the different practice modes. They are already in the game as we use them in My Player, just make them default for the practice modes.

If we're really talking about authenticity then EVERY player, from the start of next year's game, from the first roster, should have ACCURATE ratings, shoes, sigs(ALL), accessories, and tendencies.

Playing with the default roster really is a joke, it shouldn't be like that.

Please, when we are selecting teams, make the users select ready instead of pressing A or X to proceed to the game. Sometimes I accidently press A and the game starts. Give us the option to be ready for the game.

Playing with the default roster really is a joke, it shouldn't be like that.

It isn't at all. I'd say for a large % of the people that play the game they just play. You're blowing it completely out of proportion.

They could use what people deem the "best" roster here and people would still complain.

If you don't have specifics to offer, then please don't post. Saying "they need to have guys perfect" doesn't help, which is the purpose of this thread.

Good call on this front. I'll take it one step further: could some practice player have the option to have their practice jerseys untucked or even turned backward (a la Rasheed Wallace)?

No, alot of people have complaints about 70% of the players having generic shoes, and when they do have the shoes they aren't the right color. Players missing accessories or having the wrong accessories.

Most jumpshots are wrong, even some of the ones that are player specific(Dirk, Eddie House, blah blah) why do so many players have the generic free throw animation?

Less known players not having the layup and dunk packages that they deserve, or ratings, or runners, or crossover dribbles, or drifters, or post moves. Especially free agents.

Star players getting too much special treatment when stats show they are inflated.

Many people playing associations notice the terrible potential ratings and inaccurate player roles and positions, this is a HUGE problem and it's hindering this series.

NBA authenticity is in the thread title, so that's what I'm talking about, an effort to make the players more authentic. I think this suggestion is specific enough.

I don't know if your first-page examples are just examples, but here is everything that bothers me about the way the Milwaukee Bucks are aesthetically treated.

-Player faces to be improved (nearly all of them, but mostly Jennings and Delfino)
-Hairstyles: Bogut and Jennings (let us edit hairstyles so I can give Jennings a different look)
-Tattoos: Jennings, and Bogut has a tiny one on his shoulder, as does Delfino
-Jerseys: 13 years of purple are missing from the timeline
-Bradley Center: benches are inverted (Bucks' bench should be to the right of scorer's table via the broadcast camera), both teams exit at same ramp, letters on the floor are missing the silver bevel (also the graphics), MASCOT IS MISSING, and THERE AREN'T ANY NBA BANNERS. The banner above the scoreboard says "Bucks 1977 Champions," but this is Marquette. The Bucks have many banners, not just Marquette.

More arena stuff in this thread.

So while I sincerely hope that this all gets read, I will tell my largest gripes in pictures in case it does not:

Watching this Cavs game makes me think, if we're gonna have the warm-ups in the game, can we have different colors for different uniforms? Take the Cavs for example. In 2k10, for away games, they wear the same red (supposed to be wine-colored) warm-ups for their Secondary, CavFanatic and Hardwood Classic uniforms.

Arena Sounds
I want them to bring this feature back, but expand on it. Allow us to edit the Crowd, PA Volume, Sound Effects etc. for each arena. I noticed that the Cavaliers tend to play their arena music louder than most teams. Also, some teams have crowds that are just louder than others.
Let us choose how long we want the songs to play.
Some more scenarios that i would like to see added:
Traveling
Turnover (Unforced)
Foul-Out
Jump Ball
Last possession in a shutout game (Most teams play a gong)
Time-Out during Tight Game
Free Throws
