      Yo aloncho--

My English professor in college had a class with BJ at The University of Iowa. He said their professor told them on the first day of class that he would curve exam grades because he knew how hard his class was. However, my professor said they never got a chance to receive any curved exam scores because BJ aced every exam. He said Armstrong was very smart.

BJ probably looks the same today. This guy just doesn't get old. Oh, and I think it was in Air Time, that one of MJ's kids was asked who was his favorite player and he replied: "BJ!". Well, young kids always like to watch older kids playing...

Yep I remember that, then MJ asked him how old did he think BJ was and Jeffrey went: "Hmmmm...five!"

1991 & 1992 Pretty much the same look:

BTW he is 6'10"...his height and Scott Williams' should be switched, since Scott was the taller guy who played C/F at 6'11".

Seems like there's not even one NBA players who's listed height was his real height. I'd say, the NBA should stop listing players' height and let viewers decide the height on their own.

The teams and the league know the players real heights but they just list them to suit their "needs"...like Steve Nash who is really about 6'1" with shoes but has been listed at 6'2" all his career. The same happens with Dirk Nowitzki who really is 6'11" in shoes and not 7'0" as listed by the NBA, to give a couple of examples.

Also don't forget about Pippen...he is a tad taller than 6'8" in shoes and not 6'7" (his actual height without shoes).

Not to mention his extremely long arms. "Plastic Man" would fit him better than Stacey Augmon.

BJ Armstrong right now is an agent for Derrick Rose. He also doesn't look any different.

With regards to player height, they should go by the NBA combine measurement.

Agree, but most people would feel confused or "lied to" playing an NBA game that doesn't have the same heights as listed on NBA.com

At least the commentators sometimes talk about this when referring to players: "A legit 6'5" guy"... "a 6'8"/ 6'9" player who can play small forward or the big forward position...", Charlie Villanueva being 6'9" (barefoot height), etc.

Would it be ridiculous to assume they're not allowed to change the official NBA listings?

Not ridiculous, but very hard...since it has been a league trait for decades...the NCAA does it too and exaggerates in many cases too (I remember back in the day when Stackhouse was listed at 6'8" in his North Carolina years).

I guess it's OK to list players' heights with that additional inch or so which is usually the amount added to players height by shoes... because players play in shoes and not barefooted, but the NBA should at least get them right.
