Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)

To expand on my comments from the KonsoleKings Snoop vs David Banner video....If you watch the Blacktop footage from 2K11 at the end of the video you will notice that MJs calf sleeve appears to be a different color as opposed to black hopefully this means that it is editable and hopefully this also means that we can assign the Jordan calf sleeves to other players. Also it appears that in the Blacktop footage that Jordan may be wearing the Air Jordan 5s? At least it looks like that might be the case and it appears that they have the grey toungue. Looks good.

If it is a regular accessory, I'm sure we will be able to edit the colors, team colorways and black & white as always.

Aloncho, it's all yours to talk about...

Some things that stood out for me:

        * Finally we can see some AJ's!

        * Shooting that fadeaway as #45 (0:09) looked awesome to me! + seems like those are the AJ 10's.

        * The calf sleeve! Seems like it changes its colors for each team MJ plays for. Which means that it's not a fixed calf sleeve/part of the art, so maybe it means that we can assign it to other players...?

What if you're only able to assign it to one leg?

Then that would be stupid...lol. I don't know, if MJ has it with different team colors, it should be accessible for other players. But why no one wants to talk about it - I don't know....

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)

I actually think the 1997 Bulls were the best team of all time. I know they won 3 less games than the 96 team but it really felt like they were unbeatable. They would get down by 20+ points..then just "turn it on" and come back and win almost everytime....they had a few bad breaks and cold shooting games that cost them some wins but more often than not...they just got it done.

It can be debated all day long who was the best team...at least video games allow us to play classic teams against each other....its as close as we can get to knowing who was the best ever lol.

The 1991 team was great, just not as experienced as the later teams obviously.
1992 almost won 70 games and probably played the toughest playoff opponents of any of the other years.
1993 team was underrated I think, had problems with NY but pulled it out when it mattered, then outfoxed a VERY talented Suns team.
1996 just steamrolled everyone and if not for Harper's injury against Seattle and Kukoc's against NY...woulda probably swept the playoffs.
1997 like I said above was probably the peak..just unbeatable.
1998 age and injuries started to show themselves with Pippen's back..and the core guys being in their mid 30's..but willed themselves to wins over VERY talented Indiana and Utah teams.

I think the 92, 96 and 97 teams woulda beat any other teams from any other era including 86 Celts, 60's Celts, Shaq/Kobe Lakers, Magic's Lakers, Bad Boy Pistons....etc.

Supposodely they are releasing an MJ "sizzle" trailer sometime today. I assume that is what this is. Hopefully some of this footage is from an old build because there are still inaccuracies like white shoes in the bad Boys challenge instead of Black. Although the positives outweigh the negatives. Yes those fo look like the Air Jordan 10s in the double nickel footage.

And I think also white shoes vs the Lakers, but don't forget that we also have a regular season MJ (the one from 1990 - the Cavs/Hawks games). So maybe they just used the wrong one...don't know.
Also, 1986 MJ shouldn't be wearing that calf sleeve, but a knee sleeve/pad.

Overall it looks great. Liked the animations and the graphics. Even though they are from an earlier build (same one as the MJ Commercial). So hopefully the sleeve from 1986 MJ can be replaced by his knee brace, if not I will gladly edit it (and also take away his compression shorts ) Seems like there's somewhat of a starting lineup pregame introduction thingy going on there, so

Also is it just me or did, they actually put in the shorter 3-pt line for 1996 and 1997 challenges?

About the calf sleeve in general, I really hope that is an extra accessory added to all players, and not just MJ. And it seems like we can change the color, so that's pretty cool.

I hope to be wrong, but looking closer at the MJ in different teams vid, I think that maybe you can only edit the bigger part, the upper part seems to have always the main color of the team, so maybe we won't be able to do completely black or completely white sleeves out of MJ's sleeve.

                          I've asked this before but...

...if I use a PLAYOFF historic Bulls team (i.e. '96) for a regular season, will Chicago players still be wearing black shoes--even though I'm using them in the regular season?

No big deal--just wanted to know. I just can't play as the Bulls during a season with them wearing black shoes. Yes--I know I can change shoe color; I just wanted to know if I would have to.

Great find. Nice to see the intro. I think I'm officially done watching any video on the game until it comes out. I do want some surprises. I just hope all our posts in this thread were not ignored, and that the Jordan Challenge turns out as accurate as we are all hoping it will.
