hopefully they realize its not just Lebron but everyone says Lebron headband problem because he's the most recognizable player. But guys like Stephen Jackson, Brendan Haywood, Josh Smith, Al Harrington, Daniel Gibson, Bobby Brown also wear it in the middle. Carmelo wears it in the back and guys like Rasheed Wallace, Mo Williams, Varejao, Posey, Devin Brown, Eddie House, and some others wear blank headbands (which i understand they prob wont put in since they want that NBA logo product placement). The truth is most players dont wear it on the side like Jason Terry & Rajon Rondo do.

when you go on about little things like this..im usually wondering if you guys are joking or not..im a HUGE basketball fan and most of this stuff i dont even pay attention to in real life...boggles my mind that u guys get so disapointed when things like this dont make it in the game...its just sooooo unimportant in the big scheme of things imo. I mean..i can remember who wears headbands and whatnot...but you guys get on a whole different level talkin about "well so and so wears the logo in the front....and so and so wears it to the back...so and so has it a few inches away from his ear" ....LOL...do u guys really think these developers have the time to focus on that amongst other things? Im just sayin.

Anyways im pretty sure im not the first person to say this so i guess i should've kept the comment to myself lol...dont take it personal i just had to say somethin.

Found some bites of info.
@AC3KC4 yes. Brandon Jennings has his own sig.
@50deep D Rose didn't like the J he had in 2K10. He has a new shot now and I think it's pretty good.
@AlexanderLeSage there are a bunch of block animations
@NyneoBKAthaking Zach T was the producer on free throws and there are plenty. My favs are MJ, Durant and Noah
@BLISSU18S how's life down under? Yes you have complete control over whether you release your J quickly or hold it longer
@Oflii143 Paint D is much tougher this year. If you try to squirrel through traffic you'll either lose the ball or pick up your dribble.

Having total control on the release of Jump shots is huge to me. Thank you 2K!!! Ive been wanting this back for awhile, alot more skill will have to come in play now that you will have to remember the best release points on various jumpshots for players. I can really pull of some good fadeaway jumpers now and leaners.

Having total control on the release of Jump shots is huge to me. Thank you 2K!!! Ive been wanting this back for awhile, alot more skill will have to come in play now that you will have to remember the best release points on various jumpshots for players. I can really pull of some good fadeaway jumpers now and leaners.

I think the way jumpshots will work is like this:

Release won't matter as much as past games. It still will matter of course as well as the other factors/ratings. In real life the closer you are to the basket, the faster you release the ball.

Shooting a mid-range J is quicker than shooting a 3. When taking a 3, you have to use your legs more meaning the release will be slightly longer.

We'll see though with a dev insight dedicated on shooting.

I meant to say gitchly releases. The way players would kick and give themselves a extra seconds of hangtime. No one doesn't shoot like this in real life. Everyone goes up and comes right back down. Ray Allen doesn't change his jump shot. Its always the same way all the time. No one holds it longer. Thats what my problem was with the style.

I like it as it helps with slower jumpshots not being swatted all the time.. If we can hold it that half second longer, it no doubt helps.

People don't shoot like that. If catch the ball. Go up for a shot. And someone is closing out on you. You only do 2 things. You either keep shooting or you do a med air pass (to avoid traveling). No one holds the ball longer...then releases. You either shoot or you don't. You don't hold yourself a second longer in the air for a better shot.

Maybe Mike added some special animations just for just those situations...we won't know till the shooting insight..

and to respond to you and the people that say the same thing... no where are we saying this is the most important thing. If they have the time to get shoes correct, or put wristbands on the correct players, then they have time to get the look of headbands correct.

Just because you dont care about accessories or details doesnt mean everyone else doesnt care. A lot of people complain about shoes not being correct because its something they notice. Same goes for the logo on Lebron's headband being on the side and not the way he really wears it. When you play your association as the Heat and see Lebron in replays and such and you see the headband wrong, it starts to bother you.

Is it nitpicking? A little. But if its something so minor then it shouldnt be hard to change it. All they have to do is give the option to switch it and then they dont even have to worry about putting it correctly on each player, those that want to can do it themselves.

And like i said before, none of us are saying its the most important thing in the world or that it should be the priority over more important things like gameplay, but enough people are making noise about those other aspects so whats the big deal with someone saying that the accessories arent correct?
