In the history of sports games the games that are more realistic are more unpredictable. Live mighta-kinda been an exception because there was some cheapish stuff put in the game to make it more realistic and even then I would say it was lot more unpredictable than something Like Live 2003 which was less realistic.

Guys, Gamestyles are nothing more than predetermined slider sets. The Simulation GS would be like if any one us created a slider set that we felt was realistic. We already know that changing sliders doesn't make games pre determined.

Look at it this way. You set your level to Superstar, went to 2K share and downloaded a popular sim slider set, and that is what you play on. 2K11, instead of having the only default, everything 50, set...it will have many different slider sets available.

I also want to clear up that 2K8 and before didn't really have a "simulation mode". Those games had an option where you can switch from simulation to arcade. All it did was turn all the NBA rules off when you switched to arcade. It didn't alter gameplay.

It would be a great tool for tuning sliders too.

So far I have to say that CH2k8 with http://www.operationsports.com/vBulletin/college-hoops-2k-sliders/230976-all-american-realistic-sliders-gameplay-animations-17.html sliders featured the best shooting percentages I have seen. I did have to play on Mop and turn up the blocking.

I want to go into detail about CH 2k8 had the best shooting with Bellsouth's sliders (on Mop with increased blocking). I don't think its worth bringing up in total because it did have some flaws and 2k10 was closer to eclipsing it while 2k11 looks closer yet. There were two aspects that stood. The first was the lack of money layup and hookshot animations. It had them not just as bad as NBA 2k8-10. You didnt have 'money layup or 2k8 post dunk messing up your percentages or your sliders because you went too far in correcting them.

The other thing that stood out was the feeling of rhythm. This is one reason I would ditch the hot and cold indicator. I dint know if there was anything to it but getting hot certainly felt more realistic in CH 2k8 without the indicator. So did going cold too.
