I've finally decided Grizzlies it will be (again). However, this time around, I'm not keeping Zach Randolph after his contract expires. That killed me last time, because just around the time the rest of the team was peaking and needed a defensive forward, I didn't have the proper assets (Randolph had a 4 yr, $72 mil contract...)

This time around, build with the core of Conley, Mayo, Gay, and Gasol.

To my opposition...be ready for a full blast of Gay Mayo!

I love realism in my associations, just not the first one

Plus this way free agency worked out the way I wanted it to lol. Next association though I will be the Bulls with the Heat remaining intact.

I think i'll be using the Nets or the warriors and work with the current roster...maybe a couple trades depending on how they work..and just out of curiousity...what do you play 82 or 56?

Man its going to be tough sledding using the T-Wolves. In the past I have always played 82 game seasons, but for the first time ever I think I'm going to play 29 game seasons, so I can get more seasons in. There's a good chance that I might go winless during the first year.

I do 29 and to me it does not take away. You still get players averaging about what they would...and the best teams will typically be in front.

You'll win a game or two! Maybe...

Yeah i love 29 game seasons as well. It's enough games (imo) to establish the pecking order, i get pretty realistic stats for the most part and it allows me to go through more seasons so i can wear my GM hat as well.

It's funny but if Melo signs with the Nets i will probably be less likely to use them. I wanted to build an up and commer and find my own star, playing with a guy like Melo would be great but it would take away some of the challenge for me personally. Same reason why i would never play a full association with the Heat or Lakers.

i plan on taking all of the good historic players and putting them in the game
will out them in by replacing out crap players
have all of those players be free agents (it will be interesting to see who signs them)
i also plan on editing evryones (all the good players) age to 19 including historic players so no one retires.

I'm using my Miami heat (real heat fan) i see people don't think its right to use miami in association because its to easy that's not true because outside the big 3 their is no bigs and no bench so i will trade prince james an big Z for joakim noah luol deng kyle korver

I might sign A.I. to the Lakers and test out this new trading system. If its the same old system then I can easily trade Allen Iverson (80 and a next yr 1st rounder) for John Wall (81) if not then who knows lol

for Melo? No way. I live in Chicago and the newspapers have been running wild with trade rumors and rumored packages and reports say that they don't want to trade away Noah. Let alone Noah, Deng, plus both draft picks. I appreciate your creativity, but they're gonna have to get more in return.

I'll do one with the Bulls where I play all the games in a shortened season, but I also like to pick a "rebuilding" team to act as a GM with (I don't play any of the games, just try to build up a competitive roster). This year I gotta pick the Cavs and see if I can make the owner correct by winning a title before LeBron does with the Heat.

More than likely go with an up and coming team like the Wizards Grizzlies or Sixers. I am forever a Lakers fan but I don't think I am gonna play in association with them.

I'm going with Chicago as my main one, although I always do a bunch of spin off ones that go for a few seasons.

First thing I'll attempt to do is trade to get Melo if a trade hasn't happened by the time I start my 'chise.

I'd offer a trade that basically consists of Deng and a couple first rounders for Melo.

Rose/Watson
Brewer/Korver/Bogans
Melo/Johnson/Bogans
Boozer/Gibson/Thomas
Noah/Asik/Thomas

Would love the starting lineup if I could pull the Melo trade off, and still have some solid bench players to have some depth.

Goal: Take out the Miami Heat.
