I love the Heat... I suppose I'm a bandwagon jumper, but only because I've been a LeBron James fan since his rookie season... At any rate, I think I'll be using the Heat. Priority one during the season, apart from winning games and all that, will be testing the bench to see who I'm good with and then trading everyone else for a better bench (I expect to mostly be looking for height to rebound and block shots).Read my blog right here on OS!Comment

Detroit as usual. I'm going to have a great time trying to get Stuckey, Bynum, Hamilton, Gordon, Prince, McGrady, and Daye all minutes.
The Pistons are such a versatile team, but I'm not a fan of small lineups.
PG; Stuckey - Bynum
SG: Hamilton - Gordon - McGrady
SF: Prince - Daye - Summers
PF: Villanueva - Jerebko - Maxiell
C: Wallace - Monroe
At 2 wing spots I have to get 5 guys minutes, and at the two big men spots I need to get 5 guys minutes. Will be a pain.
I'll try to trade Prince, Maxiell, etc. to find a big man like I usually do.JayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment

Re: What Do You Plan On Doing With Your Association Team in 2k11?
The past couple of years I've tried using teams other than the Celtics because I thought it was kind of boring to start off with an elite team, but I'm so excited for this year's roster that I can't really help it. I don't think I'm going to make any major moves the first few years, I may package up Big Baby and Avery Bradley to try and get a younger athletic player who can play a couple of positions, someone like Terrance Williams. I'm kind of tempted to pick up Michael Beasley and dump a ton of training points into making him an elite sixth man and transition him into the starting lineup after two or three years as KG gets older.
More than anything though I'd like to score myself a real nice true center with size and low post scoring. Playing with Andrew Bynum in the demo showed me how fun that kind of player is in 2k is. More realistically I'll probably just take a tall, athletic power forward in the draft to run the pick and roll with Rondo.Comment

Don't we all. I always try to find that true post threat and the best I usually come up with is David West.JayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment

Im going to run with the blazers. Will run with the current team to the trade deadline and see what I can get. I would love to package some picks with Andre Miller and Rudy for Chris Paul, but i think that is just a pipe dream. Ill probably end up getting a better 3, Miller is probably going to be the guy I trade.Comment

Since I don't live in an NBA town, I'm going to have multiple Associations haha. First I'm going to start off with OKC and try to get some vets on the team without sacrificing too much. I'd like to get Tracy McGrady to come off the bench, and possibly get Shaq/Jermaine O'Neal for something small too. After I get that one sorted out. I'll be starting Assoc. with Memphis, Cleveland, Miami, and Charlotte.
There's certain players I like in the league and I always target them for whatever team I'm playing as, so I will try to get the following in any of the Associations:
Reggie Williams
Lance Stephenson
Stephen Curry
Nate Robinson
there's a bunch of other guys I can't think of right now.Comment

I plan on running with the Suns try to get to the 2nd round of the playoffs at least. Then trade up in the draft to get a shot at a small forward and turn him into the next franchise player for the Suns.Comment

I'm a Spurs fan. This is the lineup I will likely go with. If Alonzo Gee doesn't make the game I'll probably just sign a backup SF. I'm sure the Spurs will end up doing that anyways. Hopefully Bostjan Nachbar will be a free agent in the game this year. I'm not sure if Gary Neal will immediately be in the game either, but if he's not I can use Garrett Temple. Ginobili is being used as the sixth man, but I can adjust and put TP or Hill in that spot if need be. I plan on building the team in the future around Hill, Anderson, Blair, and Splitter. I feel like I've got at least two potential stars with those guys. I'll give James Anderson as many minutes as possible as a rookie, the guy is lights out scoring the ball.
1. Parker | Neal
2. Hill | Ginobili | Anderson
3. Jefferson | Gee
4. Duncan | Blair | Bonner
5. McDyess | SplitterComment

If I use a current squad, I bet I'll roll with the Pistons. I've always used the Pistons. Though, it seems the Detroit's Association mode will be going the same way it did last year. I've already seen a couple of other posters already mention it (i.e. trade away a mixture of Charlie Villanueva, Ben Gordon, Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince).
Today, I thought to myself that the Orlando Magic might sound like a good alternative.Comment
