the controls are much better when using a camera that is behind your player (like the My Player cam) because the direction you move the sticks in actually relates to the real direction...broadcast is a pain because dribbling move are hard to do because moving laterally does not actually correspond to right and left...also it's way harder to see the floor on broadcast because the players are all overlapping eachother and it looks like a big jumbled mess of players...i don't know how anyone can use broadcast...i feel sorry for those who do. If you use broadcast, you really need to try a "behind the player" camera, like 2k cam or whatever. the controls are much better and you can see passing angles better.

i think a lot of people use broadcast for the very shallow reason that it looks like a game on TV...unfortunately it's much harder to play the game with that angle. people need to get over the game looking like a TV broadcast and use the angle that makes the game most enjoyable. you are really missing out on the controls if you use broadcast...you're just making the game harder for yourself.

Lol people are going to enjoy the game in many different ways.

For some broadcast is much easier because their depth perception probably good enough to navigate through the blind spots.

It being difficult for some doesn't necessarily mean its going to be the same way for others...

I am wondering how the controls are for the moves you can pull off. If you can choose between a camera relative or absolute option for the right stick.

Like signature dunk is straight forward (up on the right stick). But if you have the broadcast cam and your team is facing the basket on the right. What direction is the signature dunk then?

Broadcast zoomed out a little. Camera relative controls and all. I respect those who can play with 2k/baseline cameras. Makes the game seem so uninspiring to me.

2k cam all the way. I was surprised by the result of this poll. A few years ago when 2k was the underdog, 70-90% will say they use the 2k cam, I guess times have changed.

broadcast because i like to keep the realism in tact. 2k camera is good 2 see the full court but I still don't feel right with it.

I prefer the broadcast/sideline camera angle.

Don't like the up/down camera angle like in my player mode that much.

The only time I like it was when playing Run N' Gun for the Arcade back in the day. Now that was a classic B-Ball game.

Broadcast all the way for me. I can't play on the 2k Cam anymore even after using it for so long. It has a tendency amongst my friends to turn every game into a trackmeet/full court pass bomb fest. Broadcast seems to force a slower paced game imo.

I've switched between Broadcast and 2K, but I keep going back to Broadcast. I don't like the delay every time the camera has to loop on possession changes.

It'd be cool if they can implement a 1st person view one of these days.
