Little known fact: 2k10's 'My Player' had sliders

Im not sure if it only applies to those who imported their player from the combine, but what ever settings you had loaded before entering the mode would carry over (sans difficulty)

So if you wanted a more difficult My Player mode you would get a good set of sliders for Pro setting, imput them, change the quarter length to what you desire, then enter the mode.

I found this out after the second patch and assumed it was common knowledge. This breathed new life into the mode for me, hopefully it will do the same for you until 2k11 drops.

He's right. Just wish foul sliders carried over as well, but he's right.

nah, i dont think so, because i tried that with a new my player and put 3 pt all the way up. and missed every one i tried.

Is this before you start My Player at all or everytime you load your My Player save?

I ask because this would be a godsend to me if I could apply it to my current My Player save. I'm entering the finals in my second season of My Player mode and I'm the best player in the league by far. I'm averaging 59 ppg & blowing teams out like mad. Led my team to a 76-6 record while finishing the regular season on a 41 game winning streak! As you can tell it's getting hella boring beasting on everyone all damned time with a rare 'close' game (close being within 10pts)...

in my experience its everytime you start you load your my player, but again, i have only dont it with players loaded from the combine.

I could be wrong as well, but I agree with the OP. When I uploaded my player from the Draft combine and had my custom sliders loaded before hand, they were integrated into My Player mode. At least that's what I thought.

Same with me and it was 10 minn qtrs. I was confused as to why My Player was so much more realistic than the regular game until people started posting on how you could rig the sliders to make My Player ungodly easy.

I was never able to get it to work post-patch though. Which is quite a shame.

I heard people say this b4 but I never noticed any differences when playin bc it always felt too easy no matter what.
