Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)
Supposedly it's with the shotstick where you can adjust and change your shot mid-air and after a contact animation. I do it every now and then to get a cool, usually hard, foul animation."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Question, and since there are too many pages I'm going to just ask it so that I don't have to search through. Do you guys really see an advantage to using the shot stick? In previous years you were only doing it because it was kind of cool but there was no reason. You read the moves that can be done in that list above but how often do you really get chances to do these, and when you do square with the appropriate shoulder button will give the same results.Kid... Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)
Whenever you attempt a dunk, u can branch out of it. Just go to practice mode and attempt a spin dunk, hop step/Euro-dunk, etc...if u press the shot stick before the actual dunk animation begins, you will do a branch out move. I believe this is what they are talking about even when u go into practice mode.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)
I'm having a problem with the move double cross. I can do the move with other players (nash, paul etc.) But when I use my created player, it doesn't do it.
I searched in this thread that changing it to crossover set 2 helps, but nothing happened for mine. I maxed his handles and off-ball (95,95) and still fails ):

Re: NBA 2K11 Isomotion/Shot Stick Help (360)
I can't fully explain it because I don't really have a firm grasp on how it works yet, but from what I gather it's a matter of starting one type of shot with the shot stick and then changing it to a different shot/animation with another move from the right stick before the first one finishes, altering your original shot.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
