Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Anyone know the chances of being traded back to a team you were there before?
I did a dumb decision of leaving the Wizards a while ago, after losing 5 straight by over 30 points, so I decided to request for a trade. Then I instantly regretted it (I had no save files which hadn't requested trade). Wizards GM decided to be ******** and trade Blatche for someone else, and I suddenly became starting line-up and my team chemistry went up. John wall and Arenas actaually started passing to me and the team started to win, and then I got traded to the Grizzlies, who have a ton of big men and really dont need.
I have now requested a trade back to the Wizards, but does anyone know the chance or likelihood of going back to your old team? And i'm still in my first season.Comment

even so, i think it's still a low chance or a random chance you get the team you want...Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Well now im a PG instead of a SG so im running the plays and for some reason with the Grizzlies the team can actually drop shots. Hopefully im not speaking too soon but we've got a winning record at the moment and team chemistry is at 52% so hopefully we win a few more and it goes up. Also with my player improving every game I think this team can go to good placesMy player: 6'2 scoring PG / Indiana Pacers (Season 1) / Overall 62Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Im the #7 player on my teams roster atm, only getting about 18 minutes but I play 8 minute quarters. Averaging 7.3 points 3.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Im mainly trying to get assists atm because I know that when I get more minutes my player will score 20 points minimum each game.My player: 6'2 scoring PG / Indiana Pacers (Season 1) / Overall 62Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Does anyone know when you generally crack the starting lineup? I'm in December right now, averaging 15 9 8 as a small forward. I've basically just added most of my points to rebounding, defense, and passing to replicate the way I play. Should I pour more points into offense, or what. I'm getting like 33 minutes a game on 12 minute quarters, and it's not like they have a better small forward.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I'm sure someone will say that it's normal, but let's say that I found something interesting last night.
I've tried everything so far. Playing as a Charles Barkley PF, playing as a Jordan at SG, playing like Nash as a PG. No matter what I tried, I was having problem getting even a B+ and getting points in the combine.
Well, until last night I had the idea of saying to myself : "Ok, maybe finesse isn't the way to go for you. You suck at playing basketball like the most gifted players, so why don't you try it with a guy build like Shaq!"
So, I made my player a 7'1 - 325 pounds all-around center. 1st game, 22 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assist and 2 blocks. A+ at the end of the first half! Crap, what's going on.
Second game, a bit tougher since Monroe was playing higher in the key to set screen for Wall, so I had to run more, but even then, 16 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assist and 5 blocks.
I was getting around 700 to 900 skills points playing as a SG or PG but as a C, nothing under 1150 points so far. Oh, and the most important thing, the fun is there. Grab rebounds, set picks, make yourself big to give space to player around you.
I guess that in NBA 2K11, dummies like me are made to play center! ;-)"Ice hockey is a form of disorderly conduct in which the score is kept." - Doug LarsonComment
