OK, here's my story now...

Jay "The Natural" Jackson
Athlete PG, 6'5, 219 pounds
(I'm 5 pounds lighter in real life, but wanted as much bulk as I could before the next "model tweak" - figure it makes slower at 220 when the model changed.)
I had started an all-around PG before, but didn't go through the Combine but a game or so. Wasn't sure I'd like the mode until I saw the interviews and all that good stuff while watching a friend. Saw how big speed was, so I made an athlete figuring the athleticism would help me through the early part of my career... and it has!

I'm currently 9 games in to my NBA career, originally drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder. I requested a trade, because I saw that some people who played PG for OKC would take the starting job; and then Scott Brooks would not move Russell Westbrook to the 2 guard (which is even WORSE considering Westbrook is a natural 2 who made possibly the most amazing transformation to a point, like, ever.) I'm a lifelong Pistons fan, but I love KD, Russell and the Thunder - and would have definitely played a career out as a big drafted to them.
But, I digress. I was averaging very pedestrian numbers until my final two games with the Thunder and my 2nd rivalry game against the Trail Blazers, where I recorded my first career triple-double and Player of the Game honors, with a 14 pt, 13 reb, 14 ast performance in a win over the Blazers in a closely contested matchup. (Think Rivalry games have some code tweaks, but they play like a rivalry SHOULD play!)
I requested a trade immediately after the 5 game mark, putting up the Pistons as my #1 team (obviously) and 2 other teams that I figure, you know - NEED point guards... in the Lakers and the Blazers. Fisher is obviously pretty old, and Portland really does lack a true point. It took three games... but I was traded....
To the Cleveland Cavaliers, along with a 1st rounder, for Antawn Jamison. I sure hope those guys send me a ring at the end of the year, I did contribute while I was there and loved my teammates. Hell, I asked for the trade so the coach didn't blow up their star PG!

Anyways, I'm pissed. I only wanted to go to a team that needed a pure point guard. I guess I could stay in Cleveland as they kind of need a star player, they are pretty lacking in that area.

So, I'm contemplating staying and trying to make Dan Gilbert look good (ick) - or hitting the "get me the hell out of this god-forsaken place" button ASAP! (I've played 1 game with them, and let me tell you, it won't take me long to get Mo Williams job, all he does is jack up shots, and for a PG he sure doesn't see me wide open everywhere when they make me play with him!) I think I'll pay more attention to the interested teams this time, I was just hoping they'd change as I was starting to play much better right when I put the request in.
Regardless, if I do ask for one more trade, that will be it for the first year and possibly beyond. If Detroit is an option ever, that will be where I'm headed. But I'd like to play with a lot less horrible teammates than in Cleveland, where J.J. Hickson seems to be the only one with a brain so far. I'll definitely be posting Varejao and Mo as "Worst Teammates Ever" in that thread that's going on. Varejao can at least rebound, but omg does he jack up some horrible shots. I never even pressed "Call for Ball" in OKC, but I almost feel the need to try every play in Cleveland.

Averaging like 10.6, 5.4 ast, and 4.8 rebounds. I turned the ball over a ton early in my career though, and am averaging 3.8 turnovers per game, which I am working on very hard in "practice".

Thanks for reading this "novel" if you did.
