Oh the pain! Lance Law and the Thunder were stomping through the playoffs, SWEEPING Kobe and the Lakers, only to have Durant strain his achilles in the fourth game! Now Lance has to lead the Thunder past the Miami Heat with Jeff Green and pre-update Westbrook as his 2nd and 3rd wheel.

Lost the first game in Miami by four points. Russell and Lance miscommunicated on a potential game winnner. Gonna need some serious heroics now...

Am I the only one who is sick of players getting their numbers changed due to incoming rookies or traded players randomly taking them? Ray Allen moved to 30 so Avery Bradley could be 20. Derrick Rose moved to 2 after the Bulls traded for Tracy McGrady. Sorry if this already was brought up.

Pretty good start with my 6'0, 190lbs point guard at Memphis. 13 games into the season and things are looking good after a win against Miami with me registering a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists. But damn, they are tough to handle...

              Western Conference

              Lakers 10-3
              Mavericks 9-3
              Grizzlies 9-5
              (...)

1st on the run for ROY with these stats:

              Games 13
              PPG 17.5
              ORPG 1.1
              RPG 2.7
              APG 5.6
TOPG 3.8 (i need to work on these...)

Alright, got the split in Miami. Hopefully we can protect homecourt.

not related to the game but does anyone know how to keep yourself from signing out of operation sports?

being idle kicks me off...and that's not cool...not at all...

I dropped 50 and kept going for the 70 point milestone, and felt dirty the whole time doing it (Key Game against Melo). I dropped 70, no Milestone, then figured out it was 75, but didn't have enough time. I ended with 72 points (and we lost!). I guess I'll have to do it again later... sigh... I went for both milestones in one game because I don't like scoring like that. Feels cheesy and unrealistic, but I wanted the points.

i at first thought a team would never trade away a star player but i've read from one of the posts that rip hamilton got traded....so i really dont know...im chalking it up to random
I'm a Detroiter, and let me tell you - he's NEVER been a star. Very solid and reliable, but never a star. And he's only a 77 overall in-game, so not a star there either.

game 6 of the eastern conference finals against the heat ended in overtime with a score of 140-136(bulls) ...the fans in miami were highly disappointed as their team allowed the bulls to comeback from an 0-3 deficit to force a game 7 back in chicago...

                            scored 25 pts, 5 reb, 20 ast, 5 stl, 2 blk, 0 to

my mistake...probably should have looked at his stats...but somewhere in this or another thread stated that paul pierce was traded to a different team...supposedly his role on the celtics is just that of a 'starter' and not a 'star'....either way it came as an outrage in the sense that boston probably would never ever part ways with pierce in real life...not only because he is in fact a star in the league but also one of the most clutch performers in celtic's history

Man, I love the mode, but there needs to be some way for these teams to find out WHAT THEY ACTUALLY NEED.

Drafted by the Thunder, asked for a trade because I don't wanna ruin Russell.
Traded to the Cavs, asked for a trade because Mo is our biggest talent.

So they trade me TO THE JAZZ? I'm sorry, but there's at least 10 teams that should NEVER trade for a PG. (Here's 10 - New Orleans, Boston, Utah, Zombie Sonics, Washington, Phoenix, San Antonio, Minnesota, Chicago, and Indiana.)

Think about this. If you win the starting job at point on any of these teams you have the following 10 players out of commission or at least "getting ruined" in Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Jonny Flynn, Derrick Rose, and Darren Collison. Do not take those in any particular order, but for one I heard Jonny Flynn becomes an absolute beast in this game. The only other thing you could say is the advancing age of Nash and Parker, but Parker's still only like 30, and you still would hate to bench Nash in Phoenix.

I'm seriously contemplating starting over with the autosave off, until I get drafted by a team that actually NEEDS my point guard. For instance, when I was traded to the Jazz, the Lakers were one of my LISTED destinations and they were the #1 of the interested teams. They NEED a point. That's why they were #2 on my list (I had the Pistons just because I don't care about wrecking anyone on our crappy team and its my hometown.) - the Lakers, and the Blazers. Lakers and Blazers need a quality point.

Jamario Moon and I both went in the deal to Utah for CJ Miles. I think I will just ride out the year in Utah with a chance to win and some quality damn teammates, and then take my choice in free agency after the first year and be done with it. Just kind of sucks that the My Player coaches/GM's have no idea how to draft/trade based on the needs of the roster/future.

Cleveland got rid of Jamison for me and a 1st rounder. Just sucks that I'm on my 3rd team in like 17 games in the NBA, and know I might stuff one of the top 3 PG's in the league on the bench real soon here.
