I really don't understand why my teammates are so dumb as compared to the opponent AI. When the opposing team has a play break down they either run a new play if there's enough time on the shot clock or someone at least attempts to make a move to score.

I've lost count of how many times Gilbert Arenas or Jameer Nelson have just jacked up a fadeaway three with a defender right in their face because someone wasn't in position or the defender is denying the post entry pass.

Just got blown out by a team we should have beaten.
1) 37% FG as a team
2) 17 TOs as a team(12 in the 1st half)
3) 18 Bench points as opposed to 35 of the other team
4) 11 Team Fouls
5) We only had 1 trip the Foul as opposed to 10 by the other team

WOW...the san antonio spurs have dominated every year so far...and by season 4 tim duncan is still playing(im thinking this has to be his last season)...only this season, tim duncan, richard jefferson, and tony parker are getting an incredible lift in assistance from james harden and andre iguodala...

-manu ginobili disappeared somewhere...not sure where...probably retired(if so, he's not a hall of famer)
-dejuan blair is with the suns
-george hill is with the mavericks

i guess im going to be seeing them this year in the playoffs...they're current ranked 2nd in the west behind my kings

just chose to trade for(current record is 9-1):
-carmelo anthony(lol we'll see what happens)
-tyler hansbrough(his trade value dropped to 1 star)

Ugh...the Thunder ask me who to pick up, I submit some nice PFs and SGs who are young to come off the bench and they go get......ugh, Charlie V! And now He's pushed Jeff Green to C (!) and I'm back on the bench. Silenced my critics with a 28-17-2-4 block performance from the bench.

Just got cheated in a trade. We traded Maxiell for Jordan Farmar. Maxiell was our starting PF. Jordan only comes in during blowouts. At least we got J. O'Neal(trade).
Our team chemistry went from 35% to 5%.
We should have got more or something. He wasnt a need at all. We had a Good 3 big men rotation.

i wonder if the front office still makes trade if you canceled out of the trade suggestion screen without making any selections...

in the 4th quarter in an away game against my old team(hawks)...we were down by 8 points with less than a minute left...my team had to intentionally foul to stop the clock...i exchanged their made freethrows with 3 three pointers to tie the game at 101-101 and hopefully to send it to OT....the hawks had 1.2 seconds left on the clock as they inbounded the ball from their halfcourt set....as horford threw the ball towards johnson for the game winner left corner shot...my player intercepted the pass and ended regulation sending the game to OT...i saved the video of that nfl-like interception but i dont feel like uploading it atm...will do so at another time...all my player did was clap after he made the play

the final score was 124-123 OT kings(my player fouled out with 2 minutes remaining, i got 29-13-17-9...tyreke scored 38)

i dont like the way tyreke evans smile at me during my post-game interview O_o

next game up is against the heat(another former team) with their newly acquired veteran PG chauncey billups

Got robbed of my second career triple-double with my SF. Had 9 assists with like a minute left, I do a pick and pop with Udoh and he misses a wide open free throw line jumper. So we get the ball back, I call a pick and roll again, and another brick from the free throw line for Udoh. And we lost the game by 1 point...

In managements defense, all it cost them was Mo Pete and a 2nd round pick.
I was pretty ticked that I was finally going to get to 20 boards in a game and they pull me for Ibaka for the last 3 mins of the game (!)

at least demarcus cousins is about to come back since he's listed as day-to-day

***other noticeable roster changes in the league...dirk nowitzki is now a bench player...jason thompson is the starter for the mavericks(dirk was actually listed as 3 stars for trade value but he's getting old and i didnt feel like taking someone who's been in dallas his whole career)

lol this team is plagued with injuries

i think the announcers on this game are having a little bit too much fun saying Rodrigue Beaubois' name...it's a bit annoying...i wish kidd or nash would unretire just so they're the starting PG for the mavericks again

i may have lost my sense of time...im like 15 games into season 4 already and i just started it like 2 days ago...this is with 12 minute quarters too... eh..might just be me but it seems quicker somehow

record stands at 14-1(lost to the hornets in a close game)

Can someone tell me that stats do I need to have to dunk in traffic?

I have 99 vertical 96 dunks and I am 6'7. Yet almost every time I can't rise above my opponent to score a dunk. If I am near the sideline he pushes me a little and that's it, I go for a layap.

Also, I can't seem to be able to dunk while I am under the basket. My standing dunk stat is maxed out.

Dunking in traffic is sometimes easier if you use RT/R2 + shoot button instead of using the shot stick. Doing a fake first if you're right under the basket increases the chances even more, but I don't think it's possible to be a Blake Griffin-type player in this mode. Whether that's due to tendencies or what, I dunno.

I get around 4-5 dunks per game after coming down with offensive rebounds (as a 7' PF), but attempting a real put back dunk usually makes me miss the rebound altogether. It's more annoying being successfully boxed out by Earl Boykins, but that's another topic...

My dunk & standing dunk are maxed at 99 and I use the +5 Vertical shoes to bring that up to 95. The old wisdom in NBA 2K was that there's really only 3 standing dunk attributes -- 50, 75 and 99 -- that have any effectiveness, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. What position do you play and what is your player's Attempt Dunk tendency?

All else fails, try different dunk packages... Some apparently have more contact dunks than others, which lets you pull them off when you normally couldn't. The eurostep dunks and spin dunks (left or back on shot stick, respectively) might help, too.

I was playing the Hornets a few games ago and West AND Okafor were hobbling up the court like a bunch of 80 year old men. I just kept trying to double Paul for the 15 seconds it took them to get up the court.
