Ok things are much better. I went into the shoot around and got my timing down. Now I can gold start the drills with ease. I scored 24 points in my last game as well so things are on the up and up. Now if only my team mates could shoot!

What's funny is both the CPU team and my team suck. The most points either of us have scored in a 12 minute game is 80. We're dead last in the league in PPG but first in PPG allowed. There's nothing we can do about that I guess.

you sure you're just not locking opponents down with good D?

We play good D for sure, but we're also getting locked down ourselves. I can shoot fine now but my team mates are awful. Aldridge is decent but the rest of the team is awful.

A typical game is like 77-68 either way. It's every damn game too. I think the Lakers might've hit 90 on us.

i always have a hard time with the lakers especially in the paint since they have the height advantage...the pick and roll usually works(for any type of consistent offense from your teammates) but the lakers still get their share of blocks on my PF and C...they were the first team i realized to start double teaming my player at the wing whenever i tried to set up for a play...usually it's gasol coming over to bring help...

season 4 now and the lakers have dropped considerably as a powerhouse...they're no longer in the top 8 within the west

i've seen the tendencies for roy...just set screens near him whenever he looks like he wants to drive the ball(which is almost always)

hit passes to your teammates while they're in stride...especially batum since he can knock down the 3(i really do think this method work because im able to get omri casspi to sink his perimeter shots so long as he's on the run, he's been averaging close to 17ppg since cousins and love went down and his playing minutes increased)

the announcers repeatedly talk about how slow of an offense the blazers have and that probably affects your offense significantly if you're not at the PG spot...i think that's why most people on the blazers automatically start hating andre miller(aside from his poor decision in the game)

The FG% on My Player are messed up. I'm on the Thunder and James Harden, who is a sharpshooter shoots like 30% in 3 point land. I scored 100 once in five games, and that was against the Clippers

i hated james harden's shooting...one of the reasons why i deleted that file and started over...

i didnt experience the issue with kevin durant's poor shooting though like most users...i thought he did good enough

Currently on a hot spell of games for my player im now averaging 18 ppg and 10.6 apg ive moved into starting role in front of westbrook and jeff green plays the C I still have durant and harden in the starting 5 but the cpu has taken aldrich and kristic out of rotation so i neevr hav a true big presence which means if we play a team like the rokcets they kill us on the boards

The teams 25-14 and ive won Rookie of the month and player of the week and im the top ranked rookie hopefully ill make rookie-sophmore game as starter i seem to be making a lot of turnovers though beocz the cpu passes to the wrong guy but i make 6 assists per game on average off pick and roll (in assosciation westbrook and green kill teams with it) and durant makes a lot of outside shots so im always looking for him. i reckon a second seed should be counted as a sucsees for the team and ill be happy if we can get into conference finals

playing golden state and both curry and ellis went down in the same game with an injury...

josh smith is now with the 76ers

season 1: 1.1 spg(before the first patch and before my steals was maxed out)
season 2: 4.9 spg(during the second patch with steals maxed and jordan bonus +5 steal)
season 3: 4.2 spg(the 3D patch came out when i was halfway through the season)
season 4: 4.8 spg(17 games played so far)

maybe but i think as the season wears on steals get harder...i certainly experienced it during the latter half of season 3...because right now in the beginning of season 4...im stealing the ball with ease again

1 post. Love the board and all the tips concerning NBA 2k11. Thanks guys.

Just finished up my rookie season a few days ago. Percy Sledge (my player) was drafted by the Timberwolves and then traded to the Heat mid season. As the 6th man, Percy was able to come off the bench strong averaging 22ppg, 10rpb, 3 blks. Made it to the NBA finals only to have Bosh go down in the first game while Lebron and DWade went ICE COLD. I'd come off the bench and help get the lead again, sub out and return to a 10-15 point deficit every game. Anyways, we lost the series 4-1 the Mavericks despite me pouring in 45 from the bench!
