Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

I just had two horrible games handling the ball (6 turnovers against the Wizards and 5 against the Heat). By the way, I’ve never been happier to play the 4 (rather than my natural position of 3/2) than when playing the Heat. I just had a great bounce back game as we beat the Pistons by 30. After the 1st quarter, I knew it would be a big night as I already had 9 pts (4-5, 1-1), 6 reb, 4 ast, 0 to. I ended with:

23 points (11-13), 14 reb (2 off), 7 ast, 3 to, as I had my first player of the game honor and first double-double.

Pass point PG drafted by the pistons. in the 2nd round.

This mode is obviously fun. The problem I am running into is that my teammates suck so I cannot get assists. Gorden is always missing shots that are wide open. Prince is always missing as well. Maxiell is just awful as is Villanueva. I am trying to be traded but there are no takers yet. I lose about 95% of the games I play.

woohoo! Played my first rivalry game against the Knicks and we beat the tar out of them. I had 30 points (a new career high) and 6 assists. After the game I got my Jordan Brand welcome letter! 16 games in.

Currently working on bringing up my 3 pointers so if the D sags off me (athletic SG) i can burn em from downtown!

I had 9 turnovers in a game once.

That was when I decided to max out passing.

I drove into the lane, and picked up a foul against Josh Childress. It was his 6th foul of the game and they said he had fouled out. He however didn't leave the game, and the next trip down the court, he fouled me again! He finished the game on the court and had 7 fouls!
Just happened to me playing against the Pistons and Charlie V picked up his 6th but they subbed out the center and he finished the game. Hopefully that will be addressed with the upcoming patch.

              Pg Memphis
it was not going well in Memphis. I was getting alot of minutes(could of been the starter in a few games), but only at sg. asked to get traded to Suns( Nash already traded to Raptors) but traded to Warriors.
I saw their record was worse than Memphis. I knew Curry was an 80. I decided to play a few games. But, i didnt know i was the starter. We lost the the first couple games. But we beat the Lakers by 3. So, I decided stay there(putting up good numbers) until the end of the season.
I love the play "1 Double" for PG auto basket or at least an assist.
P.S. It hard to get assists when everyone either miss open shots or make a move and then make a shot(Ellis)

Any recommendation on what kinda difficulty/style/qtr length to go for? Right now I'm starting

                All-Pro
                Sim
                12 min

I'm into the 4th quarter on my player and it feels pretty good with these settings.

I'm a 5'7" pg coming off the bench for the Miami Heat, averaging about 23 ppg in 12 minute quarters on pro difficulty. Played 5 games so far with a career high of 43 against the Magic, which gave me about 4500 points! Increasing my minutes with each game played. Is it possible to get traded without requesting it?

Almost had a triple double, would have been my first.

                    like 22 points, 15 rebounds....and 9 blocks lol.

It's official I don't like this feature. The fact I have to start off playing Pick up games in order to get skill points is not fun at all. I find myself running up and down the court because nobody knows how to play ball. Is there any other way to get skill points besides playing with ball hogs?

                        I've come within 1 rebound of a triple double 3 times T__T

What are you talking about? You dont have to play pick up games?

Wait a minute you can get skill points from pick up games, do they give as much as a regular game? I'm averaging around 1750 per NBA game right now.

Uh. No. You aren't forced to start playing Pick-Up games.

Made myself a 7'5" 320 lb C. Drafter 1st rd, 20th overall to the Spurs. So far I've managed to top out my vertical at 90. 10 games into the NBA season, I'm averaging 14 pts, 17 reb and 4.7 blocks. Put up one triple double, a 21 pt, 20 reb, 10 block game. Anyways, my biggest complaint so far has been Manu's shooting. 32%! and just 22% from downtown. And at no point does he realize "Hey, I just don't have it going today." Nope, just continues shooting away.
