I wouldn't recommend trading to another team. The bulls are actually a good team to be on depending on your position. I'm assuming you're a 2guard or a center, but if you're not, then going to another team makes sense. Sounds like you are running the plays that are called. Most of the plays will have you touch the rock and give it up to the teammate that play was designed for. Hardly any plays are set up for me so I pretty much create my own shot, at times I'll spot up for an assist to the teammate that passed it to me.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Started a My Player character right when I got NBA 2k11 (I'd never played an NBA game before) and it certainly led to an interesting experience.
6'8" 235 Scoring SF (yeah I designed him like LeBron)
Combine: Struggled greatly through the combine, but ended up getting drafted in the 2nd round by the Heat. I was pretty excited about that at the time because I figured I'd get a championship coming off of the bench.
Summer League: Did some more struggling in the summer league (I really couldn't get my shot timing down nor could I curb my turnovers) but fortunately made the roster.
1st NBA game @Boston: Unfortunately the Heat lose, but I get 5 or so minutes with the highlight being a block of Kevin Garnett. I end the game with 1 rebound and 1 block, a successful debut if you ask me.
9 games into the season: Despite the initial loss @Boston the Heat go on an 8 game win streak, topping the Power Rankings and Conference standings. I continue to increase play time, eventually becoming the 6th man off the bench with about 28 minutes per game. Unfortunately I can't quite figure out the shot timing (still) and I'm averaging around 7 ppg with a few rebounds/assists in there as well. I learn a few things during this time: 1. Chris Bosh is a stud shooter; 2. LeBron is a ball hog; 3. I love Dwayne Wade's dunks. The future looks bright in Miami for me.
Game @Cleveland: NBA 2k11 doesn't make a big deal out of it, but I'm excited for the game @Cleveland. I went into Shootaround mode to practice my shot timing (this was a really difficult concept for me) and after a bit I figure I've got it down well enough. I come off the bench 3 minutes into the game, and boy do I put on a show. I hit a three pointer on my first possession of the night, and things just clicked perfectly from there on out. I end up with 27 points and a few rebounds, receiving my first player of the game award and some complementary remarks during the press conference. Once again, the future in Miami looks bright.
About 20 or so games later: I still to this day don't know what happened, but the Heat absolutely fell apart. During this time I reach 33 minutes a game and average about 14 PPG (with a few double doubles mixed in thanks to my new found rebounding abilities), but the heat can't win a game against ANYBODY. Eventually I go down with an injury for a week, and after recovering I decide that 1. I really don't mesh with the Heat (other than Chris Bosh) and 2. I'll never crack the starting line up due to LeBron James. I do some thinking, and decide that I could start over Ron Artest, so I ask for a trade to the Lakers. While execs are working on getting me out we continue to lose and drop to 10 games below .500 at our lowest point. My future looks bleak.
Some time before the deadline: I lucked out big time and got traded to the Lakers for Derek Fisher (the Lakers proceed to pick up Luke Ridnour). I come off the bench for a week or so, but eventually I take Ron Artest's starting job. During this time I discover that I have an insanely good mid range game, and I crack 30 points for the first time. I get cheated out of the Rookie-Sophomore game (seriously... I was the #5 rookie in PPG and the #2 in rebounds, how the hell did I get passed over) but other than that the Lakers are clinging to the #1 seed in the West and I loving Pau Gasol as a give and go partner.
Lakers thoughts:
1. I love Pau
2. Kobe seems fine with me taking over the scoring load, but manages to still hit shots when I need him to
3. Bynum is pretty good, but I prefer Pau
4. Luke Ridnour sucks. I can't stand him as my point guard. He takes terrible terrible shots and never passes the ball well.
5. Lakers also traded for Varejao.... I still prefer Pau
Lakers start losing a lot of games, falling to 5th in the west, and I decide that I've become too much of a ball hog (I'm averaging 25 ppg or so since becoming a Laker but I'm also taking WAY too many shots). I try to cut back on my shots and start dishing more. Lakers win a ton of games to close the season without me ballhogging, I record a triple-double (still my one and only, 20 points 13 rebounds 10 assists), Lakers capture the #1 seed in the West, Kobe is named league MVP, and NBA title here I come.
Playoffs: Long story short, the Lakers get swept by the #8 seed Utah Jazz. I can't figure this one out either. I average 29 PPG in the playoffs, I double double 3/4 games, and I take a reasonable number of shots (barring the game 4 when I was just pissed off). Deron Williams tore us to shreds (Luke Ridnour sucks at defending too) and we lost all four games by under 10 points. Oh well, get ready for next season.
In hilarious irony the Heat win the title. Apparently they nearly won out after trading me for Derek Fisher. I guess they really hated me.
New season: New seasons starts off with a home loss to the Bulls and I only score 13 points..... whoops. I get my act together, and currently the Lakers are #2 in the West with a 20-9 record. I'm leading the league in scoring (29.1 ppg) along with 8.9 rpg (3.3 orpg... jeez). I've eclipsed the 50 point mark three times (including a 2OT game I had with the Hornets a few minutes ago, I had 52 points and 13 rebounds including a game saving offensive rebound off a Kobe miss with 2 seconds left that I layed up to send the game into double OT... great feeling). The future looks bright in Los Angeles (I know I've said that before haha)
More to come....
I'm currently with the Jazz in my second season and after 4 games, I have yet to see DWill or Millsap go off. And with the way this game works, I don't expect them to. Seems like I have to have an elite player to be successful (Kobe or Lebron or Durant). But I don't want to play on any of those teams.Last edited by MAzing87; 02-25-2011, 01:00 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Hey guys.
I got drafted by Spurs as a SG and I'm averaging 25 ppg. My assists and rebounds are very poor.
We are doing 7-2 and are currently 6 in the West Conference. However, Tony Parker is a real let down man! He hardly passes the rock! I've been asked by the management to recommend some trades and have highlighted that we need a new point guard. The choices were Rondo, Rose, Chris Paul, John Wall and also Blake Griffin (just for fun).
My question is should I request a trade to a team which has a good PG, or should I wait to see if Spurs can pick up a new point guard?
Also, which teams should I chose as my 3 picks, if I request a trade?
I dont really want to leave the Spurs, but I may be forced to due to Parker's horrible playmaking.
Thanks!Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Kobe has more than 10 points but it depends, i notice he sometimes have bad days which he avg 5-7 points that when i usually score 51-55 points but if he had a good day which is 18-22 points then i usually score 42-46 points.
Most of my assist is by Paul Gasol, I used pick n roll, gasol cuts in the rim, i either pass to him or ally oop. Also, we are number 1 in most scoring offense 124.5 points. But our defense is pretty bad lolLast edited by ctuk08; 02-25-2011, 02:59 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
I am a SG and my ratings are not very good yet because I am only 20 games in. My 3 is only 55 and the rest are mid 70's. That is a good theory, I have not thought about that, but it would make sense.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Is there any way to make a bench player? I mean, that rookies that play only a few minutes, not like 25 minutes just in 5 games.
I'd like to make it more realist. I was planning to make a rookie and make him a "bench player" for atleast 41 games. Then after the All-Star Weekend, he shows his real game. LOL.Last edited by Decco; 02-25-2011, 04:52 PM.Comment

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)
Man im so P**sed at Coach Hollins,im playing the clippers and im on 49 points,10 rebounds,8 asssits and the bastard benches me with only 1:12 on the clock. That was gonna be the biggest Skill point haul ever as i was going for 50 points, trip-dub and the 10 rebounds.
Tempted to put in trade request now and watch the grizzlies suffer and lose rest of their games we re only 16-6 coz ive been putting up at least 35 for last 6 games.Comment
