I haven't started a point foward type but I believe its like a Lebron type player, playing as a point guard

so from the point foward can you run plays if so i will def restart myplayer again after trade deadline is over with

i think that arenas is the best . jordan is little bit akward but it is okay too

So I started a new My Player Center. (4th now) I'm still not seeing any key games though. I thought maybe cause I wasn't starting. So now that I have a starting job I'll see if they show up.

Anyway. I got drafted by the Celtics. Asked for a trade so I get some playing time. Cavs, Kings, Thunder. They ended up sending me to the Lakers where I immediatley got the Starting job.

I have to say, it sure is fun to win. I've only played 3 games with them but we're 3-0 and I've had 3 straight DD's. Kobe light's em up. 37,32,28 points respectively. We're 10-2 overall.

Now if I can get those key games back I'll be very very happy.

This screen is one of many tough games from my rookie season with the Bucks. With this kind of stat line, you would think I would win, at least compete for the final spot of the playoffs right? Nope. Team was dead last. I stuck with it and during the off season, I went to the Jazz.




With a better supporting cast in my 2nd season(DWill, Millsap, and Al Jeff), I'd surely win more games right? A much solid stat line yet for some reason, I dropped the first 3 games, including this one against NO, with Trevor Ariza and Josh Childress all coming away with 20+ points. Some of that was my responsibility but damn, since when did Childress could knock down 3s with his nasty shot release?



This last screenshot was from an OT win against Hou. I'm going to be honest. I had restarted this game because my team wasn't doing nothing against Yao Ming. He already had 22 points midway thru the 2nd qtr. Every shot Jefferson attempted, he missed. So I rebooted and all of a sudden, the team was playing stellar defense, Jefferson was making all of his shots with the same moves! And I had a strong 10 point lead with about 4:00 left and then my team began with the stupid mistakes. DWill passing the ball thru traffic only to get it picked off. A full court pass to Martin off a miss that nearly grazed Salmons head for a one handed dunk. Salmons coulnd't turn his head around to intercept that? DWill also got a backcourt violation from doing iso moves with no defender around him, another turnover. Down by 3, Kevin Martin runs on the wing spots up and, you guessed it, nail a 3 with about 3 seconds left to go into overtime.

I know I need to get my assists up and that might be a key thing to get more wins but I'm convinced the team AI is just horrible in this mode. To restart the game and witness how the team AI plays completely different like night and day is frustrating. I don't want to always put up 40+ points, which is half the points some of you all are putting up. I just read that other post of 15K skill points off of a 90+ point game? I'd rather contribute to the team more than carry them to compensate the dumb things my teammates do on the court. Record is currently 1-3.

derrick rose is pretty fun to play with even when he's moved over to SG....

fastbreak opportunities can turn into alley oop potentials with him as a finisher

with the exception of the heat....the bulls was the second most team i had successful alley oops with but maybe that's because i dont generally throw a lot of them

but yes, i think being a bench player affects key games if not rivalry games

I know, I actually really dislike the Lakers irl especially as a Kings fan. However I play so well with the team and get to start that I may just stick around.

I really hope the key games come back. I think I'm just being impatient.

I have a game with boston coming up. I should be starting so I imagine that will be a key game.

Found the trade option (finally!, I must of been blind)... opened it up and see teams interested in me... heat, CELTICS, and rockets... so i put that i want to be traded to celtics, my home team!... Just played one game and reporters asked me about it after, played the "i dont know what ur talking about role." Didnt get a chance for a second game, and on the trading block the celtics are trying to work a deal to get me. Cant wait to get home and play to see what happens...

I'd come off the bench for the celts but hey i come off the bench now for the kings... so why not...

i'm trying to pick b/w jordan, vc, lebron, wade and j.rich
i noticed i kind of like angry dunks. the ones that are powerful and the guy just jumps up and mashes it down on people. which do you guys use?

Wuts the skinny on shooting on the road? I heard ur not supposed to shoot as well on the road but obviously star players eventually tune that out, right? Does the game just cut down ur stats on the road or is something else in play? Cuz I've noticed I'm getting the right shot release, the ball literally goes IN THE RIM and then just spins out like it was scripted to prevent me from scoring. And some of these shots are wide open flat footed jumpers. I'm still trying to get those signature shoes because I need to raise my mid-range jumper but this is getting ridiculous.

Never heard of that before.

I think my game may have glitched.

A couple of days ago I made a SG who got drafted in the 1rd 22nd pick to Portland Trail Blazers. I played about 7 games for them with me leading the NBA in scoring but I was still coming off the bench and only playing 20 mins per game and I hardly play SG and instead usually play SF,PG or PF and I knew that me getting the starting spot at portland was low with them having Brandon Roy so I asked for a trade and the teams I asked for were the kings and the nets who where the only two teams interested in me and I also asked for magic. The next game I played was my breakout game with me scoring over 50 points and then next thing i knew the Lakers and the Knicks were interested in me anyway I played about 5 more games and this is where i think my game glitched I got traded to the knicks for ......Amar'e Stoudemire I couldn't believed it when saw it and I thought something was of. Well i have now 20 games into my first season and the knicks are 11-9 and this the current starting line up

That whole coming off the bench when leading the league sounds like it may be normal, cause the same thing happen to me with my player. I've also read many people on OS with the same problem. I believe u have to get your overall up before you'll start if there's a decent(talented)guy in front of you.

Hmm I dont know much about how the trading goes down in MY PLAYER mode but im about to find out I asked for a trade last night... We'll see... Also looking forward to any info someone has in that...?
