I've just started another my player I play for the atlanta hawks I want to demand a trade to the rockets does anybody know how to guarantee you are traded to the team you ask for.

MyPlayer is getting boring once you have no skill points to allocate, but anyways 3rd season with Bulls 20-5 record

Save the game, Turn off autosave. Then request a trade and simulate the games until your traded. If your not traded to the Rockets then quit and load your myplayer again. Request the trade using other teams from as your #2 and #3 preferred teams. You want to choose the Rockets + 2 teams that have no interest in you, which isnt obvious (i know mine because there both teams i would have liked to go to but they never showed interest when i got frustrated and requested a trade randomly...with no intentions of saving.)

If you face this problem further along in your my player carrer (when your overall is really good) this is what you do; Lower your Overall by brining your Def and Off Awareness down to minimum.. this way your overall is low and the trade will exchange you for a scrub, not the allstar teammate you wanted to team up with.

Myplayer is somewhat good at sending you to where you want to go, but if they dont send you to the right place, do it again with different teams.

I am a 6'4" PG drafted late 1st round. I am currently just starting my second year of My player. My first year I was drafted by the Magic and became a starter within 10 games. Worked my way up from a 38 overall to an 87 in one year and won the championship. During the year the magic made trade after trade after trade which killed team chemistry (something that pissed me off in previous my players, how dare you trade Aldridge off of my blazer team for NASH.. Im a PG!!) but in the end wound up with a pretty balanced team. Over the season they traded for Boozer, Marion, Calderon, Camby with magic players: Arenas, Nelson, Turkalououuououou, Bass. In the end I didnt mind the team (although I HATE Shawn Marion).

After the 1st year I really wanted to start a separate save where I sign with the Pacers after my championship and play with Granger and Hibbert. But no matter how many times I reloaded the game the Pacers were never an option for me to sign with in the offseason. (frusterating) No problem, I can just sign with the magic and request a trade. Right? Wrong. I request a trade and i get the Kings- quit and try again, Clippers- quit and try again, Wizards-try again, Kings.. AHHH! So i think maybe the magic couldent directly trade me to the pacers for salary reasons or something. So with the kings I request a trade and Finally FINALLY! i get traded to the Pacers> Quick change my gear and number and let my happiness subside when i see they traded away Granger to get me! AHHH!!!!

Ok, quit and try again... lower my overall down from 88 to mid 60s by getting rid of awareness.. and Finally trade accepted. My player to the Pacers for Dahntay Jones!.

Then mid game, 1st game in pacers uniform. PS3 freezes. (didnt save) AHHHH!!!

Do it again... finally in the end, starting my second season with the Pacers for more of a challenge. Too bad my PS3 randoly just stops working now giving me disc and ps3 errors and stuff.. Someone really dosnt want me in Indy.

I started out with the Wizards and got traded to the 1st place Lakers. my question is has anyone had a problem where the Lakers only use the yellow jerseys regardless of whether they are playing home or away?

Is it any fun play down low in the paint with a center or power foward.
What's the best way to create him. After playing player lock with Mcgee from the wizards I want to create a big man.
Not a huge basketball fan after slam dunk contest became Mcgee fan.
Which he should of won Blake griffin won off pure hype.
as all myplayers 2 sf and 1 pg.
Are the goals different as a big man.
Any tips on creating a big man down low

So I just restarted my My Player and got drafted by the Boston Celtics. Does the CPU trade your player without requesting a trade like they do in The Show?

So, finished my 1st season yesterday. I carried the 'Wolves to the championship, but I decided to leave the team. Everyone is just so inconsistent on offense & there are few good defenders on the team. When I looked at the teams I could go to in the offseason and saw Orlando, I jumped on it. It's my favorite team, and you can't beat playing w/ Dwight and all of the excellent shooters. I'm currently an 88, I believe (not on the game atm). So yeah, loving it. I hated My Player at first, but once you really begin to improve your player and win, it's much more fun and immersing.

Are the playoff games skill point multipliers or are they scored as regular games?

if you're down 0-3 then every must-win game is a 2x multiplier...same thing for if you're up 3-0 because every clinching game is a 2x multiplier....

i did experience problems with the rivalry teams and key games not getting the 2x multiplier during the playoffs....

an example of this was during season 2 when the heat squared off against the celtics in round 2 of the playoffs...i didnt get the 2x multiplier even though rajon rondo is a key matchup for me in the regular season....same thing happened with my conference finals game against the magic even though they're a rival team in the regular season...

I just finished my 2nd My Player game with this Grizzlies (6'8 SF) against the Mavs and it was a thriller! It was a close game throughout and I was playing some good basketball. Managed to rack up 15 pts 8 rebs and 2 blks while shooting 6-10 in only 16 minutes of playing time.

Fastforward to the 4th quarter: I had just sunk 2 clutch free throws with about 20 seconds left to give us a 94-92 lead. Dirk calls for the iso, makes some pretty moves, steps back and nails a clutch deep jumper on me. 2.1 seconds remain: I'm inbounding the ball and I throw it to O.J Mayo, who's in DEEP 3 point range. He chucks up the shot as time expires, the ball rolls around in circles around the rim for what seemed like eternity, and.....SCORE! We won at the buzzer in dramatic fashion! I jumped out of my seat, lol!

I'm really enjoying my My Player experience so far.

Would you guys know why the players do not exit the game after they get their sixth foul? Players keep getting fouled out but after the announcers say that they have they remain in the game? Any suggestions?

It's a glitch. Nothing you can do.

Maybe they'll fix it for next year.
